This oughta shut up those annoying weeaboo skeptics. I've been playing SH since the beginning and I can admit the series has been getting stale. This new developer looks to be staying true to series roots while adding their own flavor. Can't wait.

I played all the SH in the past, and have been gaming since the Red/White Japanese Famicon.

Damn its gimped down to 360 level. Taking history in account than it means even worse ps3 version cuz 90% of multiplatform games are of poorer quality than 360. Case in point the latest Ska8 game. GO suk on it fonyturd.

I hope you have seem PS3 version of Dirt and Rachet and Clank. Especially R&C, the use of color in that game is really nice and vibrant because it is set in a cartoony environment, I am sure the PS3 is capable of displaying true color textures. That accusation do not really stand well IMO.

But those color is really comfortable to the eyes and they look realistic, even if you say the xbox is capable of more "sharp color or what not". Real life image are not that "vibrant", if they are going for photorealism in those games, I would say it looks excellent on the PS3.

On the RC example, i still think it looks very nice and very vibrant, i was re watching the trailer on GameTrailers.com.

But i guess it's down to personal perferences, nothing against the 360 at all, but i am not getting one until maybe a new model that comes out with the hardware issue solved. I am not going to deal with the hardware issue on a few hundred dollar hardware, it makes no sense to be unrealiable, if my 1987 gameboy still works...microsoft needs to do some self reflecting before they will get my money (and I am sure they don't give a damn about my money anyways)

Edit: was waiting for your replies, i just notice u are out of bubbles, anyways, I am sure we would be debating (arguing is too strong of a word to use) which console looks good until the sun goes down. And at the end of the day, both consoles are capable of HD graphics, and I think both consoles are excellent to look at, i just prefer the extra capability of the PS3 to be used along with the PSP, as a DLNA server, Linux (which i do use!! u can play ROMs and do some office work on it), and of course, internet in the living room (why not), and BluRay movie for the whole family on holidays. ( i am sure xbox is capable of some of these features and such, but again, it goes down to reliability, if i spend that much money on a electronic device, i dont expect it to EVER break down, very little of my electronics have failed me- actually can't think of any, except for PS1 that now only works perfectly if i flip it upside down)

You obviously dont have a PS3, or maybe you do but dont know of this feature.

The PS3 has different color output options.

It has:
RGB Limited
RGB Full
Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr
Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr-superwhite (also known as XV.color and is new technology, it basicly has a wider color scale then all the other options)

Anyway, on default the PS3 outputs the color in Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr. This is the same as RGB Limited (I personally could not see a defference between these 2).

If you choose RGB full however, the colors are darker, just like on the X-box 360.

It is up to personal preference, I myself chose for Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr, because it shows more detail in the picture then RGB full.
When I was watching Mission Impossible 3, with RGB full, I couldnt see Ving Rhames's face clearly, as I could with Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr and RGB limited.

My conclusion, Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr shows more detail than RGB full.

It all comes down to the art style of the developer. Like how they think it should be viewed. Have you ever seen movies like Saving Private Ryan? Notice that it's not all colorful?

this is how it works ...the ps3 is the superior console ...proof? mgs4 and killzone 2 looking waaaaay better than gears or bioshock (comparing two flagship titles from both consoles, of which the graphics engine is already built - ie dont say mgs4 and killzone 2 havent been released yet) ......silent hill 5 is therefore gimped due to the inferior 360 hardware....now about the multi plat thingy.....multiplat development favours the 360 coz 360 code is ported to ps3 and therefore, a lot of ps3 power remains untapped. PERIOD! what happens when both multiplat games are developed separately for each console ? ps3 wins ....see pes2008
