Who said that this information was factual, some guy that says he's from demark. Or the other second hand original story translated after being posted as hear say. If you are that easy to think something is factual, then I have some swamp land in the trunk of my car that I would like to sell you.

Funny though, my older brother is in the USAF and is stationed in demark, he has a 360 and states that that's what most of his friends play and rave about. Totally opposite that what masterg says, hmmm, somebodys either lying or a huge sony fanboy. I think I'll take the word of my brother who plays the 360 just for fun and is not close to being a fanboy.

And just like I did, you can draw your own conclusions. I'm not saying that the starter pack isn't selling well in demark, I'm sure it is, but 3-1 and 6-1 can be something as simple as 36 ps3s being sold to 6 xbox 360s or 6 ps3 to 2 wiis. Until someone post some factual numbers like thousands to hundreds, etc. The post is just another garbage story with a bunch of holes in it.

Actually this article concerns not only Denmark, but the entire of Scandinavia. Quotes in the article is made by Nordic Film Interactive, which is the only distributer of Sony PS3 in all of Scandinavia - that means Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland - in total 24 million people.

The mention of Merlin (major danish retail outlet) is only given to illustrate how the new PS3 starter package is outselling the WII and xbox360.

Basically the number of people living i Scandinavia is rather small compared to the USA, - whats interesting is weather the PS3 salesratio is also relevant for the rest of Europe - then we are talking 470 million potential consumers(European Union) - and not only 24 millon.

lol ok the PS has been around longer therefore their games are older not newer. Killzone 2, MGS 4, FF 1657, GT5, Ratchet and Clank 4-6...Haze (Multi) HS, Lair, Warhawk, Uncharted is all their is that's coming out this fall that's new. The big games next year are all the old ones. So please stop being lame.

edit:: I love how you guys disagree because I posted the PS's lineup. Everything I said was totally true, the PS exclusives have been around far longer than any Xbox ones.

Let's just count the entire world including the US. It is what it is, people are trying to make the PS3 bigger that what it is by sectioning off the sales. Stop doing that, it really makes no sense, which console currently has more total WORLD WIDE sales and please don't start that "the 360 has been out longer Bullsh!t". The Wii isn't using that excuse.

If you're coming to talk smack, the no excuses, just bring it. I mean really, based on the numbers totaled for the ENTIRE PLANET the xbox 360 is a more popular console and is owned by more people. Period. I know this goes again who most of you feel because this single arguement totally destroys all or theories of how one can make to PS3 appear more popular than the 360.

positive news for the xbox 360. IMO its already reaching its's peak and ppl are becoming more aware of the faulty hardware. Which overshadows the positive aspects of the system. Plus the only true exclusive game coming out is halo 3, ms has to ride that out till 2008.

Right now xbox just seems like a volkswagons in the car market. Very popular and ppl do buy the system cuz it has the horsepower and fun in it,but alot of other ppl want a reliable product like honda or toyota, this is what sony is right now with their ps3.

As a PS3 fan I totally agree with you because Sony is getting all the good news lately especially with last quarter 2007 games list and the solid 2008 line-up. There is more good PS3 news than the 360 or even the Wii. The 360's image has been shattered by those reliability issues and that is what's on the news all the time. Now we hear of the 360 core problems and how next year some (or most) games will require the use of a HDD. M$ is getting grilled on all sites and not just here.

M$ needs to start showing everyone what they got in their arsenal for next year because I only hear of Halo 3, Mass Effect and Bioshock. There are few more games coming for the 360 but you don't hear a whole lot of details like we do with future PS3 games. The rest of the games are multi-paltform and judging from those early beta COD 4 screens, PS3 seems to be getting the better deal but that could all change.

Bioshock is the only game I really, really want to play now but I will be patient and optimistic for that game to appear on the PS3 in a few months as long as it's not a shabby port and as long as it doesn't interfere with my Killzone and MGS4 game time.

Despite the PS3 fanboyism I still would like to hear of positive 360 and Wii news.
