Haze to become a PS3 exclusive again?

Free Radical released a pre-E3 footage of Haze, during the video there was no mention of a Xbox 360 version and the last seconds of the video show messages of a possible PS3 exclusivity and a big announcement in this E3.

At Haze website there is no Xbox logo, only PS3.

We will know whether this is true or not next week at E3.

It really is the Xbox 360 controller. But I believe there planning a timed exclusive for the ps3 since we the Xbox 360 community gets Halo 3, sony paid big bucks to have a similar game at that time, however it wont be released until 2008 so it's not really competition. The 360 shall also see it released but probably 6 months after the ps3 version, hmm also guess which one will be better again???? "X"

Thats more then one in my view.

I know PS3 fanboys want it badly to be an exclusive, because they have not much to look foreward to, to be able to have something against the beast called Halo 3. Too bad dudes, it'll be on PC and 360 also.

It's Ubisoft that's bringing it. As long as they not get paid by Sony (they tried before with Assassins Creed, but Sony didn't pay up) it's all platform.

Splinter Cell: Conviction, MS paid and got it.

Sony fanboys as is their nature dont care about the so called beast that is Halo, for them the games that are coming around that time are more worthwhile singleplayer experiences and if they can improve warhawk on par with what halo multiplayer is gonna get from its beta version the multiplayer is pretty much covered.

I frankly after the dissapointment of Halo 2 singleplayer the game doesnt even convince me to get a 360, only to go splitscreen at a friends house, if i ever get a 360 it would be a rent only title unlike gears.

And there is the possibilty (need to see it next week) that it might pale in comparison to the nemesis designed by guerrilla if history fails to repeat itself but that is only a possibility.

Not to break your dreams or anything, but the video is from before may (developer said in the video that the game will be displayed in "ubisoft days in may"), probably january/february, when it still was a multiplatform game. Things might have changed over the last 5-6 months.

Sadest part though is that you probably just want attention like all the other kids, and I have to congratulate you on the working strategy.

Since everyone was quick to jump the gun when ps3 logo came out of the Mgs4 trailer (isnt it so mart?). I think it will still be multiplatform but who knows maybee Phill is gonna do a Moore on us and get a Haze, mantel or Nectar tatoo...

I dont know but Ubi officially confirmed that the game is coming for 360 and PC. The publisher's release date calender even had the game listed for all three systems and while PS3 price drop may be really effective, I still believe Haze will be multi like previous Free Radical games (Second Sight and Timesplitters).

Edit: How can people "disagree" with a question? I swear this site is flooded with fanboys. The only next-gen system I own is PS3, but I saw this video earlier and did not make the same conclusion.

It does not include the ones that are being repaired frig. Also bear in mind that the 360 ha the highest console to game ownership ration of any console. Therefore on average even if there were on 3M PS3's and 3M 360's more game would be sold on the 360

The real reason Haze is being delayed for the 360 is because it would die a certain and painful death if it was released any where near the approaching elminio that is Halo 3. It makes sense to hold of until the storm dies down.

Funny though, even when the PS3 is the lead platform it get B**ch slap by the 360 (VF5). so screw the excuses use for all those other games that turn out to be superior on the 360. It must be so embarrassing. No wonder Ken resigned. People would not have been so harsh if sony was not so arrogant

The most funny part is...

This video is shot some time ago. You can see it in the part when one guy is saying Haze will be all over upcoming Ubidays.

Right. Ubidays. This info and this footage was from before the Ubidays. After Ubidays the news came out a couple of times that Haze leading platform is PS3 but it'll also be on 360 and PC.

Even a leading platform doesn't say that much. VF5's leading platform is PS3. But still the 360 gets better framerate, graphics, lightning and online when it arrives this fall.

Although it's funny. The 360 doesn't need Haze with Halo 3 upcoming. But the PS3 needs Haze to have something to put up to Halo 3. Thus, it would be no real loss for the 360, it's only in PS3's interest to have it exclusive. Too bad for PS fanboys if once again this rumour isn't correct.

You know full well Halo 3 is unstoppable no one has realy seen it. That goes for the MP. And before you say it, if you think the beta was it, you are a bigger idot than you sound. remember the orignal halo? When Bungie showed work inprogrees, the press had a field day complaining about frame rate, AI and control. They completely missed the vision that was being presented to them. I think peoples idea of quality in FPS is skewed...Halo wouldn't be put in the ring with any of the real FPSs like CS...
