I've never had a problem with tequila, my friends usually are not as lucky though. One challenged a whole bottle by himself, he lost. He woke up in the morning with a scratch/cut the length of his back, funny thing was everyone knew he was gone so there was like 4-5 of us making sure he kept out of trouble and no one knew where his "cougar attack" came from, at least thats what he called it since no one knew how he could've gotten it.

to systematrix. yep this will get fanboys crying lol. but this a biased report. some of the 7 features that are listed are not really that good and future firmware updates can see the ps3 easily do them, if thats all they can think of then thats bad. the ps3 as features to that the 360 dont. like the psp can connect stream stuff from your ps3 (now that is a next gen feature if you like it or not), to play online is free (admitidly its not good as xbox live but still is very good.) home (il have to wait and see about this), acheivement system (is getting trophys and showing them off in your own personal trophy cabinet better than collecting gamerpoint, i think so). i kno its calm on the ps3 front but expect good things to come. i own a ps3 and a xbox. why people have got to slag each console i dont kno why. both have there strenghs and weakness's. i jus get the feelin the 360 as peaked and the ps3 is only gettin started. all i want is good stuff from both console and enjoy the competition. the more competition, the harder ms and sony will try to get better stuff for it. good time

I think that the number one reason the 360 is better is that it delivers on its promises. I never heard the outrageous lies of 120 frames per second, 4D, SGI movie like graphics. Next gen starts when PS3 says it does......and imagine that, it is a games machine and has......you guessed it....games. PS3 is a good cheap Bluray player .....games would have been nice though.

I don't know if you knew this but dvd outsells blu ray 100,000 to 1.

So it was a very smart move to choose the cheaper but more widely adopted DVD format for a video game console than the over priced un poplular blu ray format. And when you add to the fact that even the superior cutting edge computers use DVD...and blow away ps3 games....it was the right move for MS. Sony took a big risk and so far its not paying off. People are buying less than 100k ps3's a month in the US and it just launched folks...WOW...and in japn its dwindled to less than 10k a week. This is SONY folks...the almighty SONY. What happened? I'll tell you what happened. Sony's first priority was to next gen movies and made an attempt to disguise their cheap blu ray player as a next gen video game console. It is what it is. More people would have bought the ps3 if they had chosen DVD instead of blu ray. Think about it...then all that time they spent on pushing their format would have been spent on making a better "video game" console. WOW

In a way, forcing BluRay on its customers was smart for Sony. I am by no means a Sony fan, however I recognize that making the ps3 a BluRay player has helped get the players into the market. It has made ps3 sales take a huge hit due to driving up the price and has alienated Sony fans who just want the ps3 for games, however it has helped make BluRay the #1 next gen DVD brand in North America so far.

That may change though, when Toshiba starts including HD-DVD players in its laptops. However, that remains to be seen.

Ya ok.. thanks for the good laugh. The fact and truth is the only thing the 360 will do for the family environment is make the kid cry and become depressed while holding his controller and crying because his Viva Pinata game locked up with dots all over the TV screen with 3-red lights flashing on the console.
Mom and Dad are screaming on the phone with MS tech support because $140 for repairs is taking food off there families plate and little johnny's $400 X-Mas present is now a Big Flashing Red Brick.
As the 360 commercials say ..."JUMP-IN!" lol Your in for one heck of a ride.

"console war" is starting to get petty. I think alot of websites know that these console comparisons generate many website hits and people are drawn to them like a moth to a flame. People want the "war" to end and for their console of choice to be the victor but fact is this so called "war" will never end because Sony and Microsoft are competitive and will continually try to be king of the hill. I for one am happy its this way because the more they try to improve the better games, services and functions i get.

I've played some of the best games ever in my life over the past year and a half on 360 and the future is looking good. And when the PS3 finally has some worthwhile games in the next year and a half, I'll be ready to buy the next Xbox and Microsoft's think tanks know it.

I was prepared to buy both a PS3 and Wii at launch but they just have nothing to offer right now. I want Zelda real bad, but will not buy the system just for that. I will probably still get a PS3 eventually, but I don't foresee it being my main console before then next Xbox arrives.

a virtual playground for my avatar, full of advertisements, modders, and annoying children. Not like it matters, after people realizes it's not a game they're not going to keep going back to it. Or when they see how many micro-transactions the game will be filled with. People bought the ps3 to play games, and maybe movies, not so they can rebuild the apartment they live in and virtually hang out with friends that live down the hall. They already do that on second life, and maybe, just maybe in their real life(if those friends down the hall do in fact exist). But i guess you've got to do something while waiting for good games to come out right?

Damn I hate live, so easy to use, and all those leaderboards, and active friends lists. How I'm updated with everything so quickly. What bad service, with all these updates. How I can chat to people on the PC. I wish there was some way to make it more annoying, and slower, laggier, maybe make it more complicated. Hmm....

The 360 has plenty of merits, however most of the ones that Mr Marbles chose for his argument are extremely lackluster.

- Plays nice with iPod? Really, that's a compelling argument for the 360?

- Media Center compability? PS3 has this too now. This almost totally discredits this guy for me, does he even do research?

- Headsets included. Yes, headsets are nice, but a 14.99-19.99 accessory isn't make or breaking anyone, or any system.

He could have mentioned things like the price. Downloadable HD Movies. Etc.

Really, this is a poorly written article. It really doesn't show off any really good things about the 360.

The custom soundtrack thing is definitely cool...I hope the ps3 gets that at some point...

but come on guys...you have to see how hipocrytical some of this is...The one thing 360 fans give PS3 fans is that the ps3 is better at everything except playing games...Us PS3 owners have all kinds of "crap pushed on us that has nothing to do with gaming"...The DLNA protocol is just as good, if not more user friendly, than the media center extension on the 360..you can't get the ps3 without the BD drive...You can't get it without an HDMI port...You can't get it without wireless connectivity...you can't get it without bluetooth...

Everytime we are talking about games...360 people are quick to point out how the ps3 has no games, and that it can't "compete" with the 360's awesomeness...and they always point out how Sony pushed all this other stuff, besides games, onto the buyers...so at least admit it now...all that other stuff is what this article is saying that the 360 can beat also...and its completely obvious that this editor has either A.) never messed around with the PS3's multimedia capabilities, or B.) is a total idiot on most levels (the fact that is Gamepro, this should not be ruled out), or C.) all of the above...

360 has superior online services and better/more games right now...as far as a media hub and overall home theatre tie-in... The PS3 is superior in almost everyway...Not by a landslide...the 360 is capable of a lot of things also...it is simply ignorant to say that it does them better or easier...

17 - With me owning both the Ps3 and the xbox 360....

I can think of a lot more reasons to why the 360 is a much better console than the ps3. But the number one reason in my opinion is the quality and quantity and variety of games out now and coming this year. Its far ahead of what the ps3 has offered or will offer.

I'm so glad they didn't add in HD dvd or blu ray...or wi fi....that would have put the price closer to the overprised ps3...and that would mean that it would be selling a measily 80k a month like the ps3 did last month. MS made all the right choices for a next gen console. Nintendo made all the right choices for a kiddy cheap toy console...and Sony messed up with the Cell and blu ray included in their offering...and the games suffer along with the console sales. They have shipped 5.5 million but yet have only sold about half of that. That is not good for the last two gen console champ.

p.s ...I don't think many of you who talk about the media center features on the 360 understand what it is or what it does.

Its unbelievable. You can browse online with it...you can listen to music, video's, pictures, ect.... You can check the latest sports scores, stats, and news. With video highlights ect....You get hd radio and you can watch recorded tv programs on your console. Just the media center features alone...blows away the ps3's offerring in that area. But you have to use it to believe it.

I do use both regularly on my home theatre...DLNA pretty much allows you to do the same thing with media center, big thing being you have Vista...It more or less allows access to your entire pc's harddrive, and anything on it...there are specific folders for the most part, but through Vista you can forward a lot more stuff than what the PS3 looks for automatically...

now with XP, not so much...it will only forward your WMP 11 library to the ps3...the OS doesn't have DLNA built in, so only certain programs would allow it to function correctly...

Its annoying for now how no album art is streamed...but that will probably be an easy firx in a later update...

I kind of prefer how DLNA streaming becomes part of the XMB...its not a seperate application that is launched, it can just be streaming audio in while you are doing whatever else around the XMB...the media center extension feels clumsy to me...which isn't the 360's fault...its how I felt since the launch of XP MCE...

to each his own though...I am not saying one is better than the other...just that no one can really say that the 360 blows the ps3 away or vice versa in media sharing...

You claim that you own a PS3, but if you do, then why is it not included in your info? In your info, you say that you have multiple 360's, but never mention a PS3. You don't include a gamertag for any system in the appropriate place. Your name is EliteGamer! That's an extremely biased name.

It doesn't add up. You don't own a PS3. If you did, you would at least mention it in your info, or in the gamertag space.

Look at my profile, it's open to anyone. I have my Xbox Live gamertag. I have my PSN gamertag. I use the info space to even tell you all my World of Warcraft characters. You can easily see that I'm 100% legit. YOU don't have that. If you really had a PS3, and were not just a lying fanboy, you would have included it in your profile somewhere. You didn't!

I know I enjoy the Blu-ray, and love the fact that in the future, games will be HUGE. I also enjoy not having wires all over the place. (3 computers, and a ps3 in the house, WiFi is great.)

Am not even gonna lie the lack of custom soundtracks and the no ipod support is very annoying. Not to mention the crappy sound system. But all of this is updatable so am gonna be optimistic. The other stuff is so so i tried using the media center with ma 360 and ma vista and it was jst a waste of my time. Sure its nice to have but its 1 of those features i will never use

crappy sound system? I hope you are not victim of the ps3's volume control thing...it distorts sound worse than the first versions of Mega Bass in the 80's...be sure and turn that down to either normal, or below...anything above normal will absolutely gut audio playback quality of anything compressed (CD's will still sound fine...but AAC, ATRAC, MP3, etc will all sound like poop run over twice)...turn it down and everything is exactly like it should be...

if this is not what you meant then sorry dude...It took me over a month to figure out why the hell all my crap sounded like junk...
