For every developer or publisher who's ever dreamed of pushing beyond the demographic limitations of "hardcore" or "casual" gamers, here is how you do it. And were that universal appeal NSMB Wii's sole achievement, it would be one of the most important games in recent memory. But, no: It's also ridiculously fun.

ok i'll admit this game was a whoa for me since e3 and its a+ in my book but man does it feel good when a REVIEW (one of which i dont need to tell/convince me to buy a game) says so too with a HIGH SCORE

Well Mario's platformers and RPGs never disappoint. It's the other Mario games that are hit and miss.

Mario Bros. gets too much of a pass. I get it, its Mario, people love Mario. But holy crap? A+? Its the same game we've played 20x over already.

Or in the case of this game, you can WATCH it play the same game we've played 20x over.

Mario hater arises

The game really isn't the one 20 years ago, the levels are different and power ups are different, only thing is that they went back to side scroller which i love.
