Yeah kinda obvious the 50 Wii price cut wouldnt have the same impact as a new model and a 100.00 price cut... Obviously it's selling really poorly considering all they had to do or Sony fans wouldnt be acting like the new model was never launched and wouldnt be comparing it to the small boost a 50 price cut does.

yeah, I think its safe to say that the PS3's price surge from September was no mere fluke. As expected, the numbers rounded off to at a solid 320,000 units.

The PS2 is still selling well and the PSP is doing great as well! I wish we could get a break down of the PSP numbers, though. I'm curious to see some straight up PSP Go numbers since its release on October 1st. I know I love mine. :)

Wait four days of Sales... is weak! Very weak, You Fanboys gave Both KZ2 and LBP a warm time when they came out just days before there release month ended... and KZ2 sold 325k in 2 days and LBP sold 215K in 4 days, after all there hype when NPD came out and you all bagged. It's just deserts. dont make excuses when you 360 fanboys did the same Sh!t to the PS3 fanboys... Facts are Facts.. the Game BOMB! and MISERABLY! You guys said LBP and KZ2 were total flops because they didn't even crak 1 million the week of launch after all that hype. well if 175k is all the Difinative racer who is generations ahead of the competition can muster after all that hype, advertisement, media and slander coming from the devs towards other devs in competing genre can muster then it's a massive flop... take it in what ever dosage you want, but that sh!t all you fanboys were spewing at the time of every Major PS3 release is now the same sh!t the PS3 Fanboys and fans are gonna spoon feed you. if you dont like the taste then dont try to feed it to everyone else who doesn't share your interest.

face it. It was hyped, the developers Took shots at other games in the same genre and even had MS backing them with huge marketing and you fanboys praised it and compared it to GT and in the end the game barely turned made it past 150K!!!! in Fanboy terms FORZA 3 the "generations ahead of every racer out now and THE DEFINITIVE racer of this Gen is one HUGE FLOP!!! you spend too much time plays sales than playing the games you Hype!

Prologue sold 220 K copies in 14 days so I suppose it too bombed. And Uncharted 2 statistically sold 142 K in 5 days so it too is a bomb. All I'm saying here is numbers do not lie. Yeah, it's great to see Borderlands getting the love. Between the 360 version (418k) and the PS3 version (113k), the game sold 531k, almost as much as UC2.

It's a fantastic game. If you haven't picked it up, go get it. PS3 owners, once you finish UC2, go buy Borderlands!

the PS3 has outsold the 360 by over 209,000. I wouldn't call that "barely". Let's not forget that the price cut happened at the beginning of SEPTEMBER. It looks like the sales haven't quite fallen the way you were apparently hoping they would.

a degree, I think a lot of those banned folks will pick up PS3s now, its probably already started. It just goes to show how confident MS is.

It really depends on what their friends are playing. You'll likely see MW2 sell better on the 360 than on the PS3 because more people play online on the 360... mostly because that's where their friends are. I suspect that the banned 360 owners will pick up a 360 because they've been playing online with friends, some of whom don't have a modded 360.
