People just write these kinds of articles when they're pissed off, I did the same with BF1943. MW2 is a fantastic game, I beat the campaign on hardened and got up to level 21 on multiplayer, and have had no issues whatsoever. So yes, get the game and enjoy it, whatever phantom "issues" there are should be resolved within the week. Don't let people angrily fuming keep you out of a great game.

1.4 - I only rented the 360 version and I like it more than cod4 so far

Im a huge FPS fan especially SP, but I like cod 6 because it is a great online console game from what I have played over the last 2 days. I also think the SP is better than cod 4, at least for me from what Ive played of it so far. I wasnt a big fan of cod 4 sp only the multi, but I like cod 6 multi even more so far. Its the same addicting action with alot of small improvements.

They better fix the ps3 version soon as alot of people must be pissed already. I dont see how they didnt anticipate having server problems after cod 4.

I wasnt planing on buying this soon but after having rented it for a day so far I want to buy it soon. Too bad for me I just bought uncharted 2 and borderlands already in the last month and cant be spending all my money on games. I really want AC 2 too. unfortunately/fortunately the great game flow doesnt seem to be slowing till the end of next year.

And had only two games out of plenty that suffered from lag. I was unable to connect to some friends but had no issues with others. It's a very peculiar problem with the servers right now.

Haha now I'm glad my order won't arrive for a couple more days. I can find all the treasures in Uncharted 2 and Gold Bolts/Zoni/Constructo Mods in A Crack in Time instead of getting enraged over this issue! :)

how long is uncharted offline? I gave up on it but my friend beat it in one day so ripping on COD MW2 for the short offline time is pretty stupid.

Not to mention, ramp up the difficulty and it adds time and throw in spec ops and its a heck of a lot longer.

That is coming in March, so he has a bit of a wait. Until then the mediocre series that everyone is going nuts over might be fixed beforehand. Luckily there are much better shooters out there to pass the time. Uncharted 2, while not a shooter, is recommended for an actual gaming experience.

I have watched my wife play it for two days now with no issues what so ever. (glad I finally got the disc, those forza endurance races were giving me a blister)

The fact is the data centers at Microsoft handle all of the scores, the achievements, what your friends are doing, where they are at in the game, the additional front end stuff, the back end stuff (i.e EA's servers interfacing on the back end with xbox live) we don't see most of those problems.

That is part of what your getting for your 50 bucks a year - p.s - again, it's running fine on the 360 outside of the host transfer feature.

I'm glad I decided to not buy the game.

And to think they actually raised the price of it.

My only question is how the hell did they screw up with not having enough server resource to cope with demand, they KNEW how big this game was going to be which makes it imo a bigger farce than the whole SOCOM: Confrontation fiasco which Sony were dragged through the mud for. I won't hold my breath for the same demonising of IW/Activision on the gaming media.

Like I said, glad I didn't shell out for this.

How's my logic flawed? Microsoft manages the online play experience, while Sony leaves it completely up to the developers. Microsoft makes it so much easier for devs to release their games, while Sony just sits back and doesn't do a thing.

MW2 is determinded by hows IS American and who isnt.

its must be an unspoken law that only americans are allowed to enjoy and have the full multiplayer experience. Anyone outside of the US can look to enjoy their yellow and Red bars.

It you people think matchmaking is bad for you Europeans and Asians, imagin what its like in Australia the only solid green bars are the games im hosting, but the challenge is getting host.

me and my mates are going to start bridging the connections, since it seems to be the only way to steal it from the Anericans
