Psn was not dead. I played U2 all day today online. Only mw2 didn't work.

Psn never died today it was down once for scheduled maintenance in the morning its only MW2 that wasn't working. I've been playing demons souls online and using a chatroom to find freinds in it from 4:00-8:30.

"The amount of players on #MW2 PSN overwhelmed the PSN presence server which updates "what you're doing" and is essential to parties. Xbox Live servers are maintained and ran by Microsoft. PSN servers are ran and maintained by 3rd party companies hired to do so. MP doesn't require a patch. It's a server overload not a bug in the code."

Stop blaming them because the PSN couldn't handle the load. I know it's cool to hate on IW right now, but how about hating on them because of the thing that are their fault (like the 4 hour campaign). It'll be fix soon and you guys will be able to play to your hearts content.

The problem was the Demonware servers not the PSN. BTW, Demonware is owned by Activision.
