God of War Collection Unboxed

Today, God of War Collection for the PS3 arrived. Packaged in a nice little PS3 box, you'll find one Blu-ray disc containing both titles and a God of War III demo voucher. Pics of the box, menu, disc art, and game screens all taken.

I told myself I wouldn't buy alot of games this time of year, but it's so hard to resist!

I was stuck on should I get this or Assassins creed 2, but I think I know what you guys would say, which is probably what I will do anyway, seeing how I didn't play the others.

i preordered this.I have never played a god of war game so this is like two brand new games to me.Right now i can't stop playing dragon age orgins long enough to play MW2 so i have no idea when i'll get around to beating those 2.Been a good years end for the ps3.

They are both action RPG's but are very different from each other.Demons Soul's is not as story driven and is a more difficult trial and error type of game that relies more on atmosphere to tell its story (very good atmosphere though). Dragon Age: Origins is very story driven and has a stronger RPG element.

Both are great games though, but some might be put off by the extreme challenge of Demons Soul's.

Pretty good idea, but I'm gonna do something more. First I need to try the GoW3 demo, and then I'll play GoW:CO, Gow1&2. Gow1&2 will be my first platinums, I'm gonna play them pretty slowly. No hurries, I'm just warming up for GoW3.

the blop at the bottom of the case saying "contains e3 2009 god of war 3 demo" or whatever kinda wrecks it, would've looked better without

Exact same here. Of course I'm in the UK where they're not releasing it and have heard rumours that nobody is even willing to export it over here. I'll find a way to get it though, if I have to beat the gods to death, I'll find a way.

11 - If you never played these games,
This is a definate must buy. Does anyone know if there have been any comparisons between b/c God of War on a PS3 and the updated version? It's a shame that Sony not only removed b/c, but they didn't take advantage of the PS3 hardware to make our PS2 games look better.
