i can agree with your comment mostly, the problem is mw2 is just MORE OF THE SAME.

so it has an ice level or you blow up migs, thing is even the graphical upgrade isnt that much, its a pretty standard leap from one to another

reminds me kind of of the graphics patch blueshift had for halflife,

mw2 could have been done as a stand alone expansion rather then a full game yes its better but its not new its still the same game weve been playing since call of duty, graphics sound and physics aside what have they changed, perks, more guns levels experiance, all minor tweaks designed to make people play on it as long as they can.

same as gitar heros 2-4 what did they change not enough.

is it well made sure but its not worthy of game of the year id rather see that go to odst then mw2

Why your getting disagree's, my wife works in a local supermarket and got mine for £26 on 360, and an hour later all they had left was a few ps3 versions, the 360 sold out in 1/2 hour FACT.It's great by the way and love the MP. Whats the fixes theyre on about ? been online for 2 days solid not a problem.

how much is many? hey i get it you dont like the game tough titty for you, but "many" people are also enjoying the game.

for better or for worse the game is a critical and financial success

this has been a great fall for gaming Uncharted 2, Dragon Age, COD MW2, Borderlands.....

to each his own, enjoy whatever game has caught your imagination

360 owners had a lot to play this year.. Red faction, Halo Wars, Brutal Legend, Borderlands, Batman: AA, Halo 3: ODST... And more games coming up like, Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassins Creed 2...

Comparing Uncharted 2 to Modern Warfare 2 is useless. They both offer two completely different experiences.

Uncharted 2 is the reason games like 'Tomb Raider' and 'Prince of Persia' need to be developed by Naughty Dog or forever hide in shame. Uncharted 2 had the spectacular set pieces, the blockbuster movie action sequences, and the incredible voice-over work. It's single will stand the test of time.

But, that's where the honeymoon ends. Where Uncharted 2 is ultimately about treasure hunting, climbing, jumping,leaping, and solving puzzle after puzzle to make another room open; Modern Warfare 2 is about fighing Wars.

Although, Modern warfare can also be over-the-top as Uncharted 2, it's a game and a series, grounded in the harsh realities of combat. The detractors can blow wind and pretend this game is simply another shooter, but 7 million people say it's so much more.

The repetitive enemies and shooting sequences of the original Uncharted were improved for the sequel. The multiplayer is an ok addition too the game itself, borrowing and giving a nod to almost every popular shooter that has come before it. But, it's not even close to Call of Duty level. Infinity Ward created the deepest FPS multiplayer in the game. Two years after people still play COD 4 strong, Uncharted 2's replay value does not even hold a candle to this series in that regard.

Imitation is flattery, but the consumer knows what's authentic. 7 Million people just expressed the need to experience what this series continues to offer, and Infinity Ward gave it to them in spades. Everyone has a preference, but first person shooters are the most popular gaming genre of this generation. Modern Warfare 2 just unseated everyone at the table.

It's safe to say that MW2 is also a GOTY contender

Dude, 2 different beasts. Both have great campaigns but if you think that Uncharted 2's multiplayer even comes close to MW2 than you clearly need help.

this game just bent all games over in terms of sales including halo .. infact its day one sales can take on halo3's life time sales which is at 10 mil if i remember correctly.. and this is 7mil already.. wtf.. single play was awesome as hell.. tried abit of special ops.. need a gd friend to sit that down and play with everyone is mp.. all friend on xboxlive 40 all MW2.. just crazy..activision must be vomiting money right now .. and IW must feel like diamond in the gaming industry.. thumps up great game iMO.
