Square Enix Prepares Modern Warfare 2 Bundle For Japan

This won't be a small release like when Spike, the studio behind all of those Dragon Ball fighting games, handled the Call of Duty series in Japan. Square Enix is bringing over the limited edition Xbox 360 bundle too. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 package contains the same items (a Xbox 360 w/ 2 controllers plus 250GB hard drive) as the domestic package. It's just made for Japan and has Square Enix's logo on it.

Xbox only? Wow, screwing over the people that actually care about the game. Hardly anyone will buy this in comparison to if it was a PS3 bundle in Japan. Nice.

It's XBOX only because MS purchased the exclusive rights to the MW2 bundle just like in Europe and America.

The FFXIII bundle will outsell this like 10:1 anyway since no one in Japan gives a **** about MW or the 360 in general.

I get that there are most likely more PS3 players over there as a whole, but since when was Playstation FPS country over there? I thought 360 was the console "only good for shooters". I would think the people who "care" about the game are on 360 even if there are more potential sales for a PS3 version due to sheer numbers.

There statments counter each other so much, Yet they both have agrees.

So if it was released with a ps3 bundle the game would do good.

But MW2 won't sell at all in japan because its a FPS.

how do you guys come up with this and people still agree.

why bother with this? It won't sell at all, a FPS bundled with a poorly made American console in Japan is just a plain bad idea. I could be wrong but I doubt it.
