Agreed with the number one pick for this article. I actually never played the first L4D game. The opening was really epic. Now man this makes me want the sequel very badly. :)

1.1 - The L4D opening was sweet.
But I can't believe they put Halo 3's opening on here.
I'm not commenting on the game in general, I'm just saying, the Halo 3 opening was nothing special.

I actually really liked the opening of Modern Warfare 1.Nice depiction of war and shooting! I haven't played Mw2 yet. So i believe it shud be better than the original one.

Uncharted 2 is the best I have seen on any system for so far.
L4D...thats a joke right ? I have to go home and watch it again, since it didnt make that much of an impression to me

edit: Uncharted 2's intro isn't the best though. I'll take it as your personal opinion, just like how I listed a few in my below comment.

I just put UC2 in there since there is no denial if you are honest..its the best we have seen graphically and story driven...

DMC 4, Lost Planet, and GTA IV had really great intros. I think DMC 4 had the best intro yet, great music and great cinematography. Lost Planet grips you right from the intro and has great motion capture and voice acting. GTA IV really made me feel like this was a new GTA, it really puts you at the bottom of the food chain by starting you off as an immigrant with only his cousin to look out for him.

I was very happy to see L4D get the top billing.I mean the intro isnt just some cool cut scene with action,humor, and great "camera work". Its got a movie style theme that rivals most actual action movies IMO, but the game actually kinda PLAYS like the intro suggests too and they hint at all that in this intro.
Stay together,funny comments (if you use the mike like I do),plans of attack (that need to be made quickly),often odds that may seem or even be overwhelming...etc
And when your done,your reward is a health pack,some weapons,and you need to cross another "street".
