GB writes : "The third entry in the franchise picks up about 50 years after the events of Fable 2, Albion needs a leader, and many want the crown. In Fable 3, you will spend about half of the game trying to take the thrown and become king of Albion, by trying to assemble a revolution against the Tryant King. 2. Ensure THERE IS EVEN a story - even if whatever Molyneux said was true (lol), it is hard to reconcile "most unique EVAR" with a few new unconfirmed gameplay elements.

I know it's tough trying to make your site standout amongst the whole slew of gaming sites, but reputation's a whimsical thing.

While Fable games usually turn out to be fun, a lot of Molyneux's promises never come true and this leaves us, the gamers, and him, the developer feeling a little dissapointed.
Fable and Fable II were both great games but I hope to see something revolutionary in Fable III since the core aspect of the game will be very different from past Fable games.

Fable 1 was great but flawed. Fable 2 was more of the same, but with bigger flaws and more bugs.

Lets see what Molyneaux pulls out of the bag for this one - however, having seen Milo, I'm not confident.

Damn Molyneaux's work has gone downhill since he left Bullfrog - I hope his new role in MS means he is less involved with Fable 3, as then it might have a chance of reaching the potential the series obviously shows.

I think you have summed up the Fable series quite well.

The first for me personally was a bit of a mixed bag but was definitely better when The Lost Chapters was released.

As I have said above I have yet to play Fable2 but I will get the GOTY edition witch I hope will be better that the original release.

Fable has a art style and sense of humor that I think are unique, and I think the series deserves to be a success.

Maybe you should look at how unique is applied in this particular context before making another comment. "Most unique RPG ever" could mean the most exemplary, *the* most unique of the RPG genera. As if its trying to be said that in years to come Fable 3 will be used as example of what an RPG is.

That any footage, still or video, has yet to be seen makes such a claim empty and open to criticism. That the same, the exact same, was said of Fable 1 and 2 makes it all but laughable.

Tell me this, how many RPG's currently feature a control interface that Natal promises? Whats that? None? Would you say that kinda interface is UNIQUE to Fable 3? Yes? So already you have an RPG that potentially has voice commands, free hand gesturing, voice and face recognition...what other RPG features all of that?
That alone ensures that Fable 3 experience will be very UNIQUE. But wait, according to our resident engineer/pope who skipped his English classes, Demon Souls is already out and already unique so no other RPG is allowed to be unique.

i played fable 2 on my brothers 360 for a few hours. It seemed like a fun game but i didn't really see how the things i was doing in the game had any effect on the game world itself. The one thing i didn't like about the game was that it seemed like it needed to load every 5 mins. I can't complain too much though cause that's how bayonetta is on the ps3. load load load, sheesh.
