But a clear contender. GOTY has already been issued to Uncharted 2 but I will be enjoying Modern Warfare 2 for the next two years so kudos!

1.3 - I don't care about GOTY
I just can't wait until I get home tommorrow so I can play it. I've had like 10 text messages from friends saying its the best shooter they've ever played in so many words so I'm really excited, COD4 was only second to Gears of War for me and I'm thinking this might just surpass that bar, if it does I could care less about awards because it will get my personal seal of approval, what's better than that or do you need others to tell you what to think.

MW2 is getting great scores. I will pick it up eventually but not right away, playing Unchar... err another game for the moment. You would think that MW2 would be getting around 9's everywhere but I guess not. Wonder if MW2 will have the maps from Cod4?

4 - Begining to crack under all the hype...
Ok i canceled my order for this on PC because of everything IW took out of the game... Dedicated servers, no mods, 9 vs 9 etc... But every review i have seen so far is giving this near on perfect scores if not perfect... I think i will buy it after all but will get it on PS3 instead of PC now, mainly just because i feel like they stooged the PC version (and yes i know its the same on PC, but i still feel that way for some reason?)

not a bad idea to be honest. Hopefully the pc sales are very poor so that they rethink their plans for the next game. I think they know deep down that theyve screwed up somewhere.

loved the end of this review 5... out.. of Headshot"Perfect"... . 5.

Im pretty skeptical. i just loved cod 4 and play it sometimes on my ps3 even today, but if this really has shorter campaign, graphics dosent look so good, i probably hoped a bigger step from original (cod4), then theres mp, which honestly looks awesome, hmm...

6 - IMO...
I think that they should've released this as a standalone multiplayer game. Yes offer people the disc version but also offer just XBL/PSN version for $40. Actually cuts out the middle man and they make more from it. Glad i decided to pass on MW2 this year and opted for Bad Company 2 instead. Bring on the Beta!!!!!1
