@1st comment- Those 16 disagrees are completely unwarranted. Doesn't matter in the end though, the majority of the PS360 owners have spoken and MW2 is GOTY. Who cares if AIAS gives Uncharted 2 the award, the gamers know what the true GOTY is and their support will be shown in MW2 sales.

Edit: Exactly man, logic and reason doesn't work on N4G. Like I've heard PS3 fanboys say that AIAS's opinion is worth more than the opinions of the MAJORITY of the PS360 community. The GAMERS choose the game of the year and Modern Warfare 2 IS that game. PS3 fanboys had this year won already since the beginning. They get to play BOTH MW2 and Uncharted 2, the 2 biggest games of the year and they STILL complain. It makes no sense!

Even though I haven't played it, I guarentee its not as good as uncharted 2, which I also haven't played. Any game that goes to the 360 is garbage, if its not exclusive to sony the game is created by people that don't know how to even make a game. blah blah blah blah blah. I enjoying this game heaps. Like the better games in the series (1,2 and 4) its quite a rush with some great set pieces.

But its not GotY, I dont care who gives it that.
Uncharted has that locked.

Are you guys seriously pissed GR gave the game a 10? He gave ample reason why he gave it a 10. I wonder why so few questioned why UC2 received a 10 from them? Oh that's right because you all agree it deserved the score. Well is it possible that there are other great games, is it possible MW2 is also just as good or wait is it possible he likes MW2 even better? (blasphemy on n4g I know). Its ridiculous, some of you should take a step back and listen to how you sound. If the guy likes the game and feel it deserves a 10, why shouldn't they give it a 10. if youve read enough reviews you should know some games lose their appeal because the lack of innovation hurts its overall value, while some may still have the base formula but manange to make it more intense and really enhance the great gameplay of those that came before, in the end the reviewer only needsto betrue to himself and rate the game accordingly, even if that hurts the fanboys

Yeah, probably. If you look on metacritic right now, the PS3 version (having the minimum 4 reviews), is posted with a score of 100, the first I can remember seeing. Whether or not it deserves a 10/10, I don't know, since I haven't played it.

specially the latter stages. The graphics show more on them too. Its an overall amazing game worth the COD franchise fanbase. I dont know if this game is going to get the GOTY award but for me its one of the best games this year, topped only by UC2 and Killzone 2. I dont know why 360 fans cryticize PS3 fans for dont liking this game. You dont know 360 boys that the expectation for PS3 guys are higher. Anyway I LOL when 360 fans mention it as GOTY only because its going to sell like a porn DVD. Selling dont mean quality you boys...in this case there is quality on MW2. Also 360 fans act like if the game is exclusive to the 360 praising it like crazy...this only prove that this is the ONLY game this year worth playing in the 360. Even Forza cant manage to exite 360 guys.

Anyway the best Multiplatform FPS of the year for sure. PS3 fans dont miss this game cause its amazing. Just as good if not better than COD4.

EDIT: Ohh I finished my downloaded 360 version about a day ago. Im going to buy it tomorrow on PS3 for multiplayer purposes!!

After playing MW2 last night, the KZ2 score they gave is justified. However, I don't agree that MW2 is a 10. Uncharted 2 is the closest thing to a 10 I've ever played and I still wouldn't give it a 10. People need to go to the 5 star review. a 5/5 isn't the same as a 10.
