As Activision likes to point out to its stock holders, Modern Warfare 2 is expected to be the best selling game of all time. Everybody knows it. Half of the games expected to come out this holiday season have tucked their tails between their legs and ran off to 2010 to avoid it. This is the first person shooter to rule all first person shooters. Infinity Ward's track record is impeccable and they are once again expected to deliver."

With all the negative publicity surrounding this game, I hope it underperforms it's first week of full release. Activision and Infinity Ward really has done a piss poor job of paying attention to the needs of the consumer.

I saw an article which stated Modern Warfare 2 will have to sell 43% more than that last at launch to surpass Halo 3 as the biggest single week launch in video gaming, I hope it doesn't meet Activision's expectations. When they look back on the launch, I want them to ponder the controversies and missteps and say, the consumers responded by not taking this BS lying down; we need to do better next time. Because another Call of Duty title IS coming next year and it's going to be an even greater step backwards.

Rather than selling 4 million copies the first month it would sell like 3 million? Sorry to hand it to ya but this game will sell more than any other game ont he planet and will melt your face off when you play it. It's just the simple truth.

Awesome Fishy, enjoy it. I know I will, hopefully Amazon ships my copy tomorrow. I could of gotten a copy of the game earlier via local game shop but I wanted to get my $20 coupon from Amazon so I held off. MW2 will be a blast, can't wait to play it with my friends online.

9 - CoD has always been a great franchise and CoD4: Modern Warfare is what really exposed is as great...
but I will admit the online is somewhat suited for Noobish FPS enthusiasts.

My brother loves COD: MW and he searched every Gamestop in town to find one which gave the middle finger to the MW2 embargo (he did find one on Saturday; We've hardly even played the SP campaign), but he hates Killzone 2 and the main reason for that is because of the lack of some aim-assist and for the fact that he can't jump around and blast everyone in the air like the Fairy From Hell in Killzone 2!

I went to bed at 4am. 2 hours sleep, then off to work.

Hey, the game is good, stop knocking it.
Yeah its basically more of the same, but I was under the impression most people liked the first one.

Its not trying to reinvent the wheel, its just trying to give you a good ride.

BTW, the infamous "No Russia" scene is pretty shocking. For about 5 minutes I didn't shoot anyone. I was just staring in a bit of a daze. Good on IW for making a jaded gamer actually feel something. And it perfectly in context with the story, you trying to go undercover, so hanging around bad guys in expected.

God, still 7 hours till hometime.

All that talk about will it beat KZ in graphics.
Its amazing, the game looks really nice, on an artistic level, they've done an excellent job.

And yet, its so obvious on a technical level, though very competent, its not even close.
I mean its a wide margin. Laughable actually that someone bothered to make the comparison.

Really a testiment to GG, that their game is still holding the bar up so high.
