True. Some Wal-Mart's got more some got less. But there are a lot of Wal-Marts (Wal-Mart is global). So if they all sold 10 then that's a pretty big number still. They probably sold close to 200k systems in the US alone.

Not all WalMart stores had 15. I went to get one Saturday morning and there were only 4 available for our entire store. I got there at 7:30 and was about 24th in line. Needless to say, shoulda slept in. Grr my 360 launch model E74'd 2 weeks ago. That's ok though, Uncharted 2 and MW2 will keep my mind off not having one.

So what do you expect? Do you want vgchartz to be 100% accurate, down to every single system sold from every single store across the world? Including the single one sold in Antarctica that no one can possibly track? Because I will tell you this, no one can track sales 100%. I've heard NDP doesn't include some retailers such as Wal-Mart. Hence, does that make it wrong as well because it isn't 100% accurate?

Also, what vgchartz does is FORECASTING. As a result, they are not 100% accurate. You may say that's why it sucks, well I will tell you that ALL companies do forecasting. And, do you think they ever get their forecasting to match their actual sales 100%? Other examples include IDC, which track PC hardware sales amongst other things. Are they 100% right with their predictions? Hell no. They've been off due to unforeseen conditions happening in the market. Same thing applies to vgchartz. They can't take into account all factors that might pop up.

So, try and understand what vgchartz IS, before you make a claim.

Yes there numbers are not 100% accurate because they are estimates! Most people think vgchartz is bullshit because their numbers are lower than what all 3 companies say they are. However vgchartz report sold to consumer whilst all 3 companies report sold to retailers (shipped).

That is where the discrepency lies.
