Supermarkets know this game is going to bring people in, who will then likely do their shopping when they pick up the game. They lose a lot on the game, but they make it back on people picking up a few items in store.

And video game stores can't afford to match that price.

£26 is very cheap, but i actually heard of some place that is doing it for £20 (Makro), although you need a membership and a voucher, but still if it's close, definitely worth the effort.

Strange though, MW2 seems to be the most discounted game ever.

Do you even get any preorder bonuses for MW2? I can understand why you'd buy from a specific retailer due to an extra gun, but I don't even remember any preorder bonuses being announced?

Yeah and it is so awesome, you never need to upgrade the media format, all games are on 10 discs, but MS super high ultra mega OMG compression is so good it can fit 50GB into 1MB. :) :) :)
