Two New Multiplayer Modes in Bad Company 2

In an interview with IncGamers, DICE has revealed the upcoming sequel to Battlefield: Bad Company will feature two brand new multiplayer game modes.

Ooooooh. Having four-man teams or something, maybe? I mean if I'm reading that right then the modes will be focused on the squads, so... maybe having six squads running around, each as their own teams?

well they had the perfect timing for me to say nah to the COD MW purchase....

rather keep playing the MAG beta, which is updated today for 24/7 and the upcoming BC2 beta.....

9vs9 and 2 in CoOP just was a big letdown for me. Also short SP camp...

Yeah, here to. But I think, that game will also let me drop MAG from my list. Sorry to say. With the latest "frame rate patch" in MAG, that thing became to fast for me. We'll see, I keep trying, but without a campaign, it'll be tough to get it for MP only if they got such big competition.

...the private squad feature! In BC, me and my friend were thrown so many times into the squad with some incompetent fools, it's not even funny :/. Thumbs up for the idea DICE!

I'll be sticking to good ole Conquest :)

So I noticed the squad system is different then BC1 which is a GOOD thing. I HATED the Squad system in Bad Company 1....they compare it to 1943 which I've never played

Can someone explain how the squad system works in that?

Is there 1 dedicated squad leader for example? This is something I really hope for like in Battlefield 2 because I was sick and tired of the changing squad leaders in BC1 where when I was sniping all my squad mates would spawn on me giving away my position, or they'd make the squad leader some sniper in the middle of nowhere not doing anything so we'd be nowhere near the battle.

Or if I was in a good tactical position wanting my squad to spawn on me, 2-3 guys would and then they'd change spawn leader to some random guy who dies within 5 seconds and then I'm not squad leader anymore which kinda sucked because the position I was in acted like a pretty good spawn beacon for my squad...sigh

If it is like 1943 it would be something like this:
When you are spawning on you're squad, you can pick and choose between all the "Alive" members in the squad, or different outposts(Conquest)
You can host a Private Squad in which you can invite friends into, or join public Squads.
In the Article it say's you can Lock the squads, but that seems to be a new feat. in bfbc2.

Alright well picking & choosing to spawn on the alive members I suppose is good enough, better then #1

Though I would have preferred 1 dedicated squad leader like BF2 because it's going to be hard if some people in your squad don't have mics trying to get them to spawn on you when you want to act like a spawn beacon, ah well guess that means I'll just be opted to find people I know to squad up with lol
