EA Says Infinity Ward Is Welcome To Copy Us

Battlefield: BAD COMPANY 2 is picking up alot of momentum and recognition in the game industry since the release of part one.

Since competition makes for better games it seems like Infinity Ward has now met it's match.

There's things going on in Bad Company 2 that's not present in Modern Warfare and one of these features is based on the online activity that EA is bringing to Bad Company 2.

2 - I prefer Battlefield
Because it takes skill. Anyone can pick up Call of Duty and be good at it. It's a casual game for a casual gamer.

I might have to agree....a small bit.

I can hop into a random CoD game and do fine for some part, not fall too far behind. But I hopped onto BF2142 after 2 years of not playing and I got slaughtered so badly....

4 - I am mostly neutral about BF BC
But f**k that, I gotta tell ya....BF BC blows online.

Who wants to play 1 game mode where you have to blow up a chest, it got boring after a few days. And then they added a flag capture mode, which MW already had.

4.1 - you're either 4 years old or..
.. your parent's house is a cave with no windows. The "Conquest" mode you speak of has been an integral part of Battlefield games from the beginning..

That was an awesome interview. A lot of people bash HHG, but the man is just passionate about games. If that was IGN or Gametrailers, it would have been a passive interview, but his level of excitement makes it more interesting. Just get rid of those ridiculous titles and it's all good.

Btw, HHG should play as a stunt double to Jamie Fox lmao

good video!

7 - I saw this game on GameTrailers!!
Modern Warfare 2 will be awesome, BUT.....Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is insane!! CHECK OUT THE MULTIPLAYER FOOTAGE ON GAMETRAILERS.COM!!
It doesn't come out until March 2010...so both games will make their money. I will get both of them.

For those saying that the vids released so far are not 360/PS3, if you follow DICE on twitter, you would know that all the vids have been console. Actually they were thinking of releasing or making a PC trailer, Maybe later on.

Let me tell you something: The first two FPS games I ever played was back on PS1 and N64 respectively which was: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six(PS1) and Golden Eye. Ever since then, I have never played another FPS until I tried Bad Company 1 demo. I went into this generation wanting to be open with some genres I haven't tried before. Mainly cause I understood the level of gaming this generation could produce.
So, while I knew about Bad Company, I completely forgot about the game at some point and tried the demo. Let me tell you, I played the hell out of that demo for around 2 days(check my PSN stats on Battlefield Bad Company: StealthBlade98( http://badcompany.ea. com/myprofile/ps3/Stealth%20Bl ade98) and I haven't been addicted to a FPS until this game. I have to say it literally brought me back to the FPS genre.

I may be the only one, but I truly liked the Story mode. It was a funny, I love Haggard lines. I like Sweet Water. Sarge was funny. Preston was a go with the flow type guy who never complained. The gold was cool too cause it was a different take. Was there depth? Maybe not, was it trying to be different? Yes. I think with destruction and Comedy, it really made me love the game even more. My only problem was it wasn't long enough. I mean sure replaying it several times to get the PSN trophies is cool and all but I wished there was more levels. Crash and Grab was scary at first for me. Cause I wasn't good playing alone. I like the others with me cause they tell me if there enemies around and they distract the enemy for me to kill them.

Multiplayer was addicting as well(as it was on the demo). Sure it might not be CoD impressive but solid game. When I heard BC2 and what they were doing with it with the full scale destruction, micro destruction, blood, re-adding parachutes, adding MRL's on tanks(or what it appeared to be on a trailer)having a kill cam if I recall correctly, I was instantly hooked. I pre-ordered the game the other day, got an email saying it's been upgraded to Limited edition and giving me access to the PS3 exclusive beta is just "OMG I CAN'T WAIT" moment. Someone stated on QJ .net that it was purposely done to take MW2 thunder away, while I don't agree it doesn't matter much.

While I don't personally get the same feeling of satisfaction with MW1, I do understand that MW1 was a huge game. I can see why MW2 is looking to be a beast(especially with the 99/100 metacritic score from 10 reviews atm). I would love to see Uncharted 2 get GOTY only cause it deserves it.

Props to HipHopGamer keeping it real again. Your vids are terrific. I posted on one of your sites that people posting blogs. I believe Master Samo was one of them. I went by Final Blade there from Neoseeker .com
While there was times I disagreed with you guys, I still respect you guys for posting your stuff. You get so much heat for terrible reasons. So far I agree with you on the leap of BC2 from the first compared to MW2 to the MW1. It seems that because MW1 had so much stuff already, they just added to what they had. BC1 they didn't have a whole lot, but with BC2 they really making it a HUGE sequel which Is what I love.

Anyway: No hating here. MW2 definitely has the hype, definitely has the fanbase and will definitely end up getting around 7 million sales if not more by the first month. I'm hoping Bad Company 2 will get more fanbase and sales come release. both has it's pros and cons and personally I think people should enjoy both for what they are and what they do/offer.
