Mobile phone companys been doing this for years The Link were doing a free Fat PS3 BEFORE the price drop since its launch. This is hardly news.

I was in carphone warehouse (a UK phone retailer) a few days ago and they were giving away PS3s, 360s and Laptops. Nothing new..

Yep, I've been unable to afford an LCD thaat hadn't had washed out blacks(even had two Bravias which weren't great)had a Panny 37" plassy that had a fantastic pciture but used, like, half the product of the Uk's nat grid to power it, had a Samsung and foolishly used the "gaming" setting to play games on which killed it(millions of blue pixels-which was pretty but rendered the TV useless)-still can't believe Samsung did that to so many people and have now got a mere 720P LG plasma which is fine(as I can't tell between that and 1080p until I'm over 50" screens-but with future games going to be playable in 3D only on 1080 it would be good to have again)but still a little heavy on the power(nowhere near what they were though).

So I've had my fill of the LCD/Plasma merry go round for a long while and looking at the new LED TVs I must confess to getting very interested but I reckon a wait is in order to see just how affordable AND just how good they can get. Some of the current prices are eye watering for reliable brands and as I don't trust Samsung very much I'm waiting for affordable Sony, Pioneer and Panasonic options to arrive-also heard that Toshiva hace some cool things coming along and after vbeing surprised at the quality of my LG I'll be interested n seeing what they bring to the coffee table too.

I'm looking for a new phone atm so might try to get another PS3 but then the TV search starts all over again so I can have good quality PS3 LAN parties!
