Microsoft Countering Sony With Avatar Spaces Is Home In Trouble HipHopGamerShow 11/8/09

Why would Home be in trouble? The fact that Sony stated it is in beta indefinitely and that it isn’t even advertised with the PS3 on store shelves. Avatars are not going to affect Home JUST LIKE HOME hasn’t affected the 360 in anyway. Your worried or bringing up a wasted concern of a feature consumers most likely do not know about until after they opened up the game console. Whatever MS decideds to do with Avatars is not going to affect a dual owner or a PS3 only owner one bit.

Avatars and Home is not any gamers deciding factor on which console to get. Again, it sure as hell isn’t going to get someone to go to another console because of an update so no Home doesn’t need to worry about Avatars when it needs to fix its own issues to begin with lol.

I don't use it much cause none my frient use it.

I would use it more if:

quicker load time in home. Waiting time is important to many impatiant people.

More community event. Like games tournament and win price.

Bring back voice chat, just have better police in Home.

Just do something to bring the people together. I always running around don't know what to do or say in home.

If they make a virtual facebook in Home would be awsome.

this would be just another thing in a long line of things microsoft saw with sony,DOWNPLAYED IT,then ended up copying in the end.but makes excuses and say they are just offering the latest services that gamers want.seems to be things that sony said GAMER'S NEEDED FROM THE START like:

cameras and virtual characters you could interact with like eyepet
hard drives as standard
hdmi
high def movies in 1080p
1080p support for next gen tvs
a real 3D community that you could see and interact in and not just page scores on it.

we'll see what they do if it comes.but ps3 gamers aren't surprised.

Home wont be in trouble. Home is on the PS3 and the avatars are on the 360, how would it hurt Home if it's on a different system? The only thing that will hurt are the consoles itself but that is highly unlikely. Who would buy a 360 or PS3 system just because of the avatars or Home?

i tried to play re4 on my ps2 two weeks ago. this game is one of the best one outside of RE 3 in the series. i could not get through the village section of RE4 because of the d-pad control scheme. the control scheme back in the day it was the shait. now not so much!! when or if ever capcom do the RE remake and keep the same control scheme; i will leave the retail game at gamespot like i did RE5. capcom needs to look at deadspace for control scheme on a horror game...

Sony made the ps3 hardware with a ten year plan in mind. MS did not do the something with the xbox. MS is stretching a fixed hardware system. What happen when you stretching something that has a fixed limit??? lol in the end i am riding with the "lady who brought me to the dance" (uncharted2)

BFBC2 looks solid... i will be buying this game.

FYI if people want to hurt ACTivision. Just buy MW2 used at gamespot or ect... and fax/email all the used receipts to ACTivision. this show them that they have lost sales. a petition does not do it anymore..... i am sure this will work and this is what i am doing. i am buying this game for my cousin... everybody wins except ACTivision.
