MS's rated "G" approach to everything avatar related makes it not even in the same league as Home. Home has nothing to worry about. Everything MS's has done with their avatars just continues to prove to me how Sony got it right and they(MS) got it wrong.

Home really is light years ahead of where MS is at with their kiddy/feminine avatars.

No. But that's only because it's not important in the first place. All this move does is allow MS to get in on the "Home" type places certain groups support. I haven't heard a single person say I'm getting or I own a PS3 because of Home. I've tried it. It's not my cup of tea. But it's FREE and if I hear of something in the future they add that I want to check out I'll probably do so...for about 10-15 minutes. Then I erase the file needed for Home and carry on.

Basically I could care less if Microsoft does it. I could care less if Nintendo does it. I care less that Sony does it and haven't gained anything from it so far. It's a gimmick.

But I'm not surprised Microsoft is trying to copy it. That's basically what they do and that's how they got where they are. Microsoft has never really invented things...they just streamline what is out there and monopolize it. Do the knowledge on Microsoft's history if you have doubts. But who cares.

well well more hate yet more support thanks any you guys but check this out. When I say that "Is Home In Trouble" is because Sony wants home to grow really bad but it's having it's share of problems and when Microsoft drops their own avatar world, as a answer to what Sony has done with Home. even though Home is free if Microsoft can capitalize on the first try with something that Sony has been working on for years that's not going to look good in the press. also if this will add more community functionality to the xbox live universe then that's more of a reason to jump on microsofts offering as opposed to the community spending time trying to grow sony's Home. don't get me wrong I like Home but competition will always be there and if Microsoft can offer something better in less time then that's a problem for sony and Homes Image in the industry

omg that would be sick this week set up is better than last week, with comercials and stuff. but i still prefered the ps and 360 news format better.maybe you could talk about both systems in another way, like industry moves that each system is making asscreed2 exclusive deal with sony and M$ adding cos to live. these are examples, but i like to watch respected people (hiphopgamer fck all you hater, he's got my respsect) talk instead or having to read their articles. It's more personal and i dont always want to sit for a hour and read.

Home for 360 will represent a difference inthe systems and may hurt 360 when targeting their hardcore market. the childish look is what is taking over the 360 and what it is trying to represent. but casual gamers arent hardocre and mixing the two could spell disaster, look at nintendo they are selling hardware but not software.

M$ want this whole causual community its cool but i dont want to playin some kiddy world id rather have it be professional looking as i get older, i see that people see playing games as something kids do. I dont see it like that and when i show people sonys layout they usually say it look professional. But even my girl wont look at the xbox interface she think its some kids thing.

their are a few things that sony hasnt even done that will make this place live and that is a true reward system that is not only in home but is also in the game. imagine playing asscreed2 you go into a home space and can play mini games from asscreed 2 that will allow you to unlock a secret weapon in the game if you get a certain score. how many people would be in home or if you buy the psp version unlock all weapons, you gain access to a home mini game that unlocks weapong asscreed 2 or the psp version. thsi is where sony needs to take home and if mS joins my only other problem besides it lookin g like its for toddlers is i dont like the gamer points how can you visually represent that. although sony ( your guy have lied on this one too) where is my home trophy room. that one thing alone will get me in home and my friends those are straight bragging rights get that fixed. looking at them doesnt do it because their is no cross game chat.

360 copying ps now instead of wii with the avatars, thats cool but how long has it taken for home.ill believe it when i see it.

still this console race is heating up, and all this stuff is great but m$ needs to worry about games. If games are getting bigger than uncharted 2 and some the other heavy hitters. Who really give a sh1t about all these other things that are coming. you know what i want gt5 god of war mag heavy rain battle feild, agent, finalfantasy(, 13, 14, vrs) modnation racers and dead nation, their is more but my point is i dont care about all that other crap just games.

damn i just though about all those games off the top of my head, and i owe sony 700 dollars already plus square a subscription. fck you sony you bastards thats like a weekend vacation.
