GOTY awards ARE the nonsense Lowcarb and you know it. The fact is that a signifigant, if small compared to those getting the game, sized minoyity of gamers smell more than just a rat here and IW/Acti are relying on people saying just what you have and fighting their bettles for them. Why does it bother you that people are upset with IW over their behaviour? We're not knocking the game or their talents are we?

Factis, for me, I'd have LOVED to be playing the game with you mate but I can't. I don't reward tosspots in real life and certainly wouldn't pay them for being such lowlifes. I fel it's shame that they were proved right when risking a lot on the gaming community being so very fractured and bitter towards each other when we SHOULD have stood up and told them we wouldn't take this crap from anyone-they exist because we buy the games and we're letting the bloody tail wag the dog because of petty rivalries and non differences.

No other group of consumers acts this way and that's why no other group gets treated quite as poorly as we gamers. Play the game. Ebjoy it-it's your choice and that's fair enough but don't think that it won't come back to bite us all on the arse cos, imo, it will and will keep doing so until we stand together and put an end to the blatant over profiteering at our own cost by greedy companies and over ego inflated devs. This time round they tool from the EU and PC gamer-next time it will be everywhere and all platforms. It's divide and rule and IDK why so few are prepared to see that and prepared to fight.

lowcarb buti didnt give any lines to read between. i dont care if multiplats get scored high, nor do i can if 360 games get scored high, but both of the games i mentioned were rip offs(imo) that had very little done to them just because the devs knew they would sell millions of copies. a site who could know this and still rate MW2 very high is filed under one of the 2 catagories i listed above, if MW2 was a ps3 exclusive id say the same thing and you know what, if uncharted ever goes down this road id feel the same way towards it(i dont think naughty dog will ever treat a game like that but i guess anything is possible)

I'm getting it too, day one :) Am I missing something, the hate for this game is just ridiculous! I don't think I have looked forward to a game as much as I am with MW2...the videos are incredible, and I dont think charging a few extra quid should be a good reason not to buy it, if you're going to be tight with your money then there's always bargains to look out for.

yes, you have missed a great deal of something, Kotick shot his mouth off for 6 months and some people are speaking with their wallets. He didn't just slip and make a verbal error, he perpetually sinks to new lows with vile hatred towards gamers as a whole, and particularly towards Sony and their business needs, then has the donut holes to come up with an overpriced Tony Hawk interactive skateboard. I'll be getting the game later after a price drop or sale, I can wait and have more than enough of a backlog. I have great respect for the COD franchise, as I have EVERY one of their games on at least one platform.

I'm kinda puzzled why people keep asking about the "hate" towards this game...where were you the last year or so when Kotick and his greed were in every article?

The problem is that someone has to buy it new first. Which still helps ATVI.

I don't feel MW2 is worth buying, period, especially the PC version. Why should I pay more money for fewer features than the competing games? (Even used, it's usually a percentage of the original price, which would still be more than comparable used games.)

If I wanted to play a console game, I'd get a console. I want to play a PC game. That means dedicated servers, performance tweaking, community made content, and the ability to choose who I play with at any time.

There's plenty of other games out there, and many are untouched by the corruption that is Activision.

Also I am not concerned for those who want this on their PC. I like PC gaming, but I don't care as this doesn't affect me. I'm getting mine for my 360. Why? That's where I do most of my online play.

On Topic - You found the anti-MW2 attitude to be funny. It most definitely is NOT. Two years is a lot in the gaming industry. Even when COD5 came out, it was accused of having little to no improvements from COD4. Now COD6 is still stuck in that time-frame. Don't get me wrong, I loved COD4 as well. But to pay a full price for something that is barely worth a DLC price, that's plain stupid(remember ODST?). Just goes to see how overhype and a huge marketing budget can do.

BTW, my comments are solely my opinion, and whoever disagrees with me are either retarded or "lack the capability to read". See what I did there???

I really don't care as much about eye candy as I do about the overall game play experience. A game can have graphics that would make reality look dull and bland, but be absolute garbage when you actually play it.

With the "improvements" Infinity Ward made to MW2, it took all the good things about MW1 on PC and threw them out, leaving a hollow shell behind. Who cares about graphics, when the core game play has been trashed?

I would have gotten the game for multiplayer, had IW not destroyed it already. And I never really cared for the SP campaigns in the CoD series. Too short, in my opinion. And the CoD series was always better for MP than SP anyway. Until now, that is.
