You can always skip that scene.
I personally have no problem whatsoever!
What i do have a problem is that all these fool will have an edge in the multiplayer portion...........the stream that i watched there were fools already in the 45 rank mark. Hopefully IW resets the servers!

...GameStop can handle any lost customers (hell, they deserve it), but mom-and-pop shops are going to have a much harder time taking the hit that they will now be getting from customers dropping orders and going to GameStop instead.

just watched the live marathon on Justin TV....I dont see and it was mentioned during the broadcast much if any diff. between this and the last game...
SP camp. is very short and MP looks exactly the same.

look at the sales for this game..why buy at GS..
so many stores are giving 10 - 20 buck gift cards......and the shelves will be overflowing

Is it just me or does everyone else in the F@cking world have MW2 already except me?

I mean seriously, I watched a video the other day of someone who had a copy already, and in his multiplayer game was some f@cking 10 year old, saying over and over how he had sentry turrets. how the hell did he get that? Pirate?

I call for a universal rank reset on November the 10th to give honest and waiting customers a f@cking fair start, rather than hop into a game where someone has advanced perks and we get owned.

Take it easy with the sensitivety regarding the airport scene. It's entertainment and nothing more, and if you can't distinguish between real life and videogames, then maybe you should leave the latter alone. I'm sure no one here had a problem running over civilians in GTA. Half of you don't know the real definition of terrorism anyways, though it's no fault of your own: it's become a throw away term that unfortunately cheapens it for true victims of terrorism. We're all big boys and girls and shouldn't let jingoism stop us from enjoying our hobby. It's what the terrorist would want.

I agree with your comments, but I feel since you are one of the learned ones that exist on N4G, that you could have expounded upon your comments and given we the readers more insight as to the differences between true terrorism and how it is generally perceived. I am not asking for a dissertation; just a small explanation for those of us that are not political science professors.

The most widely accepted definition of terrorism, agreed upon by most scholars is "the threat or perceived threat, or the use of violence, to acheive a POLITICAL goal,or to bring about political change". Robbing a bank and shooting all the innocents in that bank is not terrorism. It's a crime. Organized crime is not terrorism. There has to be political motivation.

and thanks for the definition. I had always viewed terrorism as a form of coersion, facilitaed through violence and fear tatctics, used against non military targets to acheive some ideological goal. I had never really considered the political motivations behind such acts. Thanks again for the perspective.

14 - EARLY OWNERS BEWARE.
I just went to go pick up my copy of the game at my local Gamestop in upstate NY and was told that even though they had the rights to sell the game early, I was instructed not to play the game online. Microsoft was still banning accounts that were cought playing it online before the original street date even though Activision gave permission to sell it early. You could play single player but you risk your account if you go online.
