Developer says Xbox 360 3D Dot Game Heroes possible

Don't give up hope just yet on an Xbox 360 version of 3D Dot Game Heroes. It looks like the game's development studio, Silicon Studios, has nothing against porting the title over.

My Game Flash visited the studio last month and quizzed producer Hiroyuki Misawa on a number of issues, including the chance for a 360 version. Said Misawa of a possible port, "We can do it. Our libraries are multiplatform, so it would be possible to make it for 360." Asked if there are actually plans to release the game on 360, Misawa said, "It's up to From. We're a developer, so if there's a call to make it, I believe we can do it."

anyone who b'tches against this game is stupid. a ripoff?
how about an awesome tribute to the greatest stories ever told in gaming! Its classic zelda, final fantasy, and dragon warrior rolled up into one amazingly beautiful game. yeah i want it to stay on PS3. but regardless any fanboy who writes this game off for any reason, should have their fingers broken.

PISSIO: You already have the PS3, so why you should wait? PS3 exclusives that reach day one without multiplatform announcements usually stay that way.

For example NGS2 version is much better than the xbox version with
improvements and additions; coop, characters ecc.
I'm interest at this point to see what happens...there is any other version for this game? Actually doesn't exsist. I'm not sure for now, but the publisher isn't Sony. So not exclude a xbox version.

The last game that from made on the 360 wasn't a success ninja blade. From doesn't even have a publisher for the west so its highly unlikely this will go to the 360 the fanbase just isn't on the 360.

And considering the run-away success of Demon's Souls; From will probably be developing exclusively for the PS3.

But still they won't pull a Valve and try to humiliate the 360 fanbase, they will just say they have had more success on the Playstation consoles!

Atlus must be happy they took that risk!

Does anyone know whether Activision or From Software have the rights for Tenchu? I would love to see another for PS3. One of the reasons I bought a PS2!

Edit: Weird; It says Tenchu is property of Sony music and subtitles(Stealth Assassins and Wrath of Heaven) are owned by Activision. Yet the last Tenchu was 360 exclusive and it makes no mention of the developer on the box.

...considering this has already been picked up for North American publishing, there may be some under the table dealings we won't be made aware of.

Couple that with the fact that FROM Software has been producing, developing and publishing far more titles for Sony's platforms that it would simply seem out of character, at least in regards to FROM's recent activity.

Stranger things can happen and I hope for gamers worldwide, it's true. I'm a huge supporter of Sony's platforms but if more people get more releases, what's wrong with that? I'm not going to adopt an elitest attitude and whine because a once-though-exclusive goes multi. All that means is there's another group of gamers I get to talk about the game too...and that's awesome!

20 - the ONLY reason why i can see From Software NOT

releasing it on the 360 is because the 360 audience doesn't really seem to be all that into single player RPGs, or RPGs in general.

there are certainly a few exceptions, but most RPGs don't do so well on the 360 in comparison to online enabled shooters.

i'm looking forward to 3D Dot Game Heroes, because it tickles the 8 year old inside of me that remembers playing Zelda on the NES way back in the day.

if it comes to the 360, i just hope the 360 audience can appreciate it. it quite literally goes against EVERYTHING that demographic has shown they like: fancy graphics, online features, first person, etc.

i'm glad a US release is coming, but if they release another Chinese/English version like Demon's Souls, i'll import that bad baby.
