Look at the shots they are not the same frames, the first one is a different shot then the 360. So if he waited for the right moment to cap the PS3 image then it could be just snow blowing. you can't compare if it's not the same screens.

I like to take photos. Now if were talking about dynamic range according to these pictures if you compared them to photographs, the 360 pictures has far less dynamic range. That means the highlights and shadows are far less detailed and clipped (destoryed). Now the settings on a tv works similarly the same as if you would raise the contrast so high that you loose dynamic range. Hence showing more detail with blacker strokes and less shadow detail and clipped highlights.
The thing that confuses me is that somehow the 360 owners has been fooled to believing that less dynamic range is a good thing because it looks hot. But for my eyes I want to have the most dynamic range because I don't like clipped highlights and poor shadow dynamic range. Secondly a image can be to sharp, which is often a problem with 360 sample images. Maybe they use the worthless function called Game Mode on their telly, a picture mode supposed to enhance the image to increase contrast and sharpening to levels that destroy the image.
What I see when I look at these images is that the PS3 version shows high dynamic range with details the 360 version samples just don't show.
There now I find it hard to believe the 360 has less dynamic range but all these samples seems to show this.
My conclusion is that these guys who make these comparisons don't know what they are doing at all and they actually make a disservice to the 360.

1st, this game looks like 2007, same as the predecestor, and 2nd, they (this site)made PS3 version look worse on purpose. You need to fix contrast and saturation on TV, maybe gamma in game if available. Bunch of crappy screenshots won´t make me to buy X360 (although i could buy it for some other games), just crash the site reputation. Nuff said, let´s move on.

The screenshots aren't even at the same locations, but in ONE screen you can see the superiour lightning in the Ps3 version.

The rest is somewhat exactly the same.

with the MAG beta fully unlocked and the BC2 beta...I am gonna let MW sit on the shelves till I can get it for cheap

and I dont see a big leap in graphics with the game engine, especially after seeing the BC2 vid.....

Not this crap site again.
You need a good quality capture card ill be waiting for digital foundry.
This is the site that used to make forza look better then gt5p with using gt4 pictures. And comparing forza 3 with forza 2 and using forza 2 with the forza 3 Hud photoshoped on it.

And even you need to really look for the details to see the difference at 60 fps and with action packed gameplay you wont notice the difference between the consoles.

Some screenshots look bright with a bit more colour on the 360 version, but then i see screenshots like this one:

Where the anti aliasing on the PS3 version seems be slightly better, look at the shadows on the floor - the ones on 360 look blocky while the ones on the PS3 look smooth.

PS3 snow shots look more realistic than the 360's.
But the lighting looks like it was purposely changed on the ps3 version.

on most the 360 version looks better but on a few the ps3 does, especially the last one.

I dont know what you call it, but the ps3 version looks more 'smokey' in alot of the pics as if the brightness has been turned up too much. And the 360 version has better contrast.

Im sure some tweaking with your tvs settings would get them looking identical. As is the case with most of these comparisons, and is why i dont trust them.

Both versions looks the same only a tiny difference cos lighting looks better in PS3 if you look at the last pic. but these aren't even screen shots that can show it clearly to decide which looks better, if at all.

seriously people who say 360 version is better only look like fools and fanboys when there is evidence to say otherwise.

"360 version looks so much better" - a 360 fan who suddenly seems to care for graphics and randomly assumes its better on 360 cos its multi-platform. have you seen any difference between MW? no STFU.

This is probably just another Ghostbusters situation...
I remember comparing the screenshots to my TV and in the screenshot the backpack was so blurry, but on my TV it was crystal clear! It looked better than the 360 version (in the picture).
I'm just gonna assume it's the settings that these (fanboys?) use to make the PS3 version look inferior...
