You're not missing out on much, D2D. MW2 is barely ahead of Shattered Horizon on Steam's top sellers list.

Don't get me wrong, Shattered Horizon's an awesome game, but it's got virtually no hype around it.

1.1 - Shattered Horizon
I look at it as a playable benchmark game. Is it decent enough to earn our Jackson?

1.2 - D2D are missing out
MW2 will bring tens of thousands (at least) of new players into the Steam community. These guys will be tied into Steam, that's a Valve win.

On the other hand, whereas I wish Futuremark every success, I doubt that it actually bought in any new blood to Steam.

This is a futile line in the sand from D2D, to try and discourage developers from implementing Steam features. Not to protect the customer from "trojan horses", but because they're afraid that when users goto Steam, they're going to want to ditch the Fox News distribution channel.

1.3 - Ahhh
I for one bought and enjoyed Shattered Horizon.

The people who are going to play MW2 on Steam are the noobies that don't read news. No TRUE pc gamer in their right mind would play MW2 after what IW/Activision has done.

Saint's Row 2 that I purchased on D2D HAD TO be activated through Steam in order to play, what makes MW2 any different? I call BS.

Either way, I'll be getting MW2 for 360.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa, get your facts straight...

......it's 5 and a HALF hours. At least that's how quickly my friend and I got through the campaign, trading off on his hacked 360. But.. at least it's longer than cod5, right? Eh? Though I'd be lying if I said the campaign wasn't significantly better than I expected, and kind of makes cod4's feel like a paintball match. But still not worth $60 in my book.

I try to share the wealth. I buy from Impulse, D2D and Steam. I have some games on Gamersgate, but not enough to talk about.

The MW2 hate is despicable.

The campaign can go down in history and was very easy to understand.

Unlike the first MW the plot is there, understandable, and compelling.

I was glued to the sit playing for 8hours straight grinding through campaign on Hardened.

To all the people with sense and aren't materialistic half ass gamers don't miss out on MW2 because it puts whatever FPS story and multiplayer to shame this year.

Dedicated servers BS they feed you on N4G....don't listen!!!!!

Matches are quick and speedy and the host migrates in less than 5 seconds.

Graphics ARE better also.

The game is crack and is the hottest title I've played all year.

Firing down Predator Missiles, saving hostages, breaching rooms in slows mo, Zodiac boat fights, raiding a prison and roaming streets were an EMP has shut down all electricity (even your RED DOT) is just a small sample of the BEASTLY content that comes loaded with this title.

MW2 successfully one upped any FPS this year in "gameplay and fun" 2 things that morons on N4G put under graphics.

I'm off to play right now. Peace love and hair grease b|TCHES!
