They say they're all about originality after stating Uncharted 2 had a low score for no originality.

Now I want to know what they have to say about a sequel to COD4.

If Modern Warfare 2 was a PS3 exclusive, these comments would be filled with, "Uncharted 2 (the greatest TPS ever) and Modern Warfare 2 (the greatest FPS ever) is the perfect storm, PS3 FTW!!'. Get over yourselves. Oh, and MW2 does not innovate? Hmmm...let's see...what did Uncharted 2's MP do this weekend? Double Money? Is that to be confused with Double XP? I know Call of Duty didn't start that, but you have to wonder where they go the idea...Oh, and how many games let you customize killstreaks? How many games have killstreaks? Or fully customizable weapons? Or both TPS and FPS gameplay...

people who are bashing MW2 are Wii only owners.
PS3 owners get both UC2 and MW2. both are great games that they will buy this holiday.

IGN played it safe. CODWF2 will also win game of the year from them, just as Fallout 3 did last year. IGN WILL NOT give a PS3 exclusive GOTY for various reasons.

If thats true which i am comfortable it is, i am losing respect for IGN reviewers by the day.
I think the games good, just not as good as its made out to be.
Its funny how everyone is bagging on PS3 fanboys when they are getting the game also, which shows that they dislike the hype.

It seems that 360 user fear the most about first party developers from Sony. They see MW2 like 360 exclusive.

But 9,5 is way to much.

The same old engine with some modifications.
The same old crappy auto aim, just for noobs.
Lag Peer to peer network.

Modern Warfare is at least 8.0 worth.

Same multi-player with more perks for even easier kills, short campaign and the same engine without any improvements removed dedicated servers and even asking more for less ye thats a 9.5 in my book 2...

Of course some sites are gonna bite into the hype and give the game too much credit, but why should that make everyone so angry?

1 No one here has played it! For all you know it is an amazing game. IGN played it, they know how to review it, you havent even held it in your hands....

2 This can EASILY be faked without any skill at all. There is absolutely no reason why he couldnt go to uncharted's score, copy the score into photoshop, head on over to call of duty where it says NA and screen shot it, then overlay uncharted's score. Hell in a recent article about the airport scene IGN even noted "we have yet to play the game"

Calm the eff down, its not the end of the world. Its an opinion, a opinion we dont even know is official yet. The game already has 3 million pre orders, a bad or good review isnt going to do crap.

and about the engine umm good job little droid modern warfare 2 looks like a very well done game i gave uncharted 2 an 8.75 but like i said graphics don't mean anything. it's the fun, replay value that counts. and that's what uncharted 2 didn't bring to the table . many peeps on my freinds list don't even play uncharted 2 anymore since multiplayer didn't have that really fun expireince. and were the heck are the 360 fanboy o_O? you guys make excuses that the 360 fanboys will die but all i see is droids now that's fail

Im a ps3 and pc owner i didn't even bring uncharted 2 in to it you did, although uncharted 2 is leaps and bounds better then this overhyped trash. Im pissed at the fact pc gamers made this franchise and now they get backstabbed twice by activision with a higher point for no reason seeing as the game doesn't look any better then cod4 and the removal of dedicated servers so that they can charge 10$ for a crappy map pack that they made in 1 a day. So right now im more a pissed off pc gamer then a pissed off ps3 gamer.

i believe all the ps3 fans are a pissed of because in all the reviews of Killzone 2 there was a statement "GREAT GAME BUT DOESN'T REINVENT THE GENRE". That was a very harsh statement that must be portrayed in the modern warfare 2.

I hope they factor in the increased price when considering the final score. Should at least go down .2 points for making us pay more when other publishers dont.

A 9.5 from IGN wouldnt surprise me one bit. It seems to be their safe score when reviewing AAA titles. 9.6 means better than AAA, 9.4 means you get hammered by fanboys.
