1.2 - They Play Test
Just the problem is that Publishers usually give a window when a game has to be ready and Developers have to make that window. During play test they usually focus on all the big issues first and if they can they try to work on whats left before launch. Usually anything that was left unfixed gets fixed later in a patch.

The problem is that the playtesters aren't accomplished glitchers. They play the games to find bugs, not glitches. What they need to do is hire people that actually spend their time trying to glitch.

5 - a glitch in a next gen game!
(gasp) alert the media cuz this is BIG! ok lets see here so far we have glitches in

1) uncharted 2
2) Demons souls
3) Borderlands
4) Bayoneta
5) Halo 2
6) Halo 3
7) im gunna predict this one (Halo ODST)
8) Gears of war 2
9) God of war 2
10) going back a bit but there was a big one in DOA 4 caused loss of data
to name but a few,

so glithes in games dosent seem that odd now dose it?, however it looks like game testers need to start doing there job a bit better,

sure i'll complain about it, im saying its not anything new you know not news worthy

oh yeah and you below im a freaking game programmer been one since i was 16 so yeah i know a thing or two, i also know bad programing = glitches so to a certain degree my wise ass opinion is more valid than yours.

Just to let you know... all the "hate" you got was probably from your stance. Sure, every game has glitches... but that doesn't make it acceptable.

DO NOT defend a dev that passed up a huge budget because they didn't plan on innovating THAT much. They also snubbed the idea of a beta. The beta would of caught a lot of bugs. These guys shot themselves in the foot and we all know how terrible IW is at patching a game. People who defend glitches like it is acceptable just give the dev not incentive to get it right the first time. This is a MP game that should be near perfect because of the insane amount of money they make on it and how little each iteration differs from the next.

PS- People who put their own pic as an avatar are just asking for abuse.

I stopped playing mw1 the day I brought home kz2, that being said I have looked at the footage of the new one and can't help realizing how absolutely weird the control of the player is. I mean it's just kind of lower class gaming to me now, with the fast turning twitchy gameplay! Don't get me wrong, I was a diehard fan of mw1. Played everyday, had an absolute blast. But kz2 has opened up a fps mindset in me I can't shake.Can't wait for kz3!

18 - It's not the glitch so much...
...that pisses me off. it's the fact that people already have this game in their hands days before it is released. Couple that with the fact that it's always the jackass's that seem to have the time and talent to find the glitches, thus posting them for the rest of the world to see and prepare to extort; and thereby sort of 'ruining' the game for everyone else. Well, ruining is too strong, but it definely takes away from the experience when you go online against these jerks. I guess I'll have to wait and see how many people are taking advantage of these glitches when I go online to play. It's impossible for a game to be glitch free apparently, but it is disappointing when the average gamer is waiting and waiting, then see's crap like this. I'm sure I'll get over by next week....
