Ubisoft Confirm Metal Gear / Assassin's Creed 2 Potential

GamingUnion.net writes, "At the GameON: Finance conference in Toronto, GamingUnion.net had the opportunity to speak with Ubisoft Montreal CEO, Yannis Mallat. Mallat's studio is behind the development of the Assassin's Creed series, and many may remember the Assassin's Creed bonus in Metal Gear Solid 4, Snake adorning Altair's outfit.

Whatever. Let's hope their new game won't be buggy as hell like a lot of their previous games. Far Cry 2 didn't get fixed until 1 year after release. Not to mention the multiplayer bugs in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Ubisoft has taken some great franchises and trashed them with lazy development or poor support.

What bugs are you talking about in Rainbow Six Vegas 2? (i know they still had the annoying machine gun sound) But besides that vegas 2 had less bugs/glitches compared to vegas 1. However both are great games.

They are great games. But buggy due to lazy developers. I haven't played RB6V2 in awhile to remember all the bugs, but one of them was the ability to jump outside a number of maps and shoot through walls into the map at other players.

My AI teammates would occasionally freeze in some maps, esp in the parking garage near the puddle of water and van. The AI sometimes didn't even follow orders. Great games, lazy developers.

And I would dare say that Ubisoft Montreal has made some of the most repetitive games this generation (Assassin's Creed 1, Prince of Persia, Far Cry 2, etc). They have a lot more people working for Assassin's Creed 2. Let's hope the game lives up to it.

From reading that I think it would be switched around so I think Snake will make a small appearance in splinter cell and raiden in assasins creed because how will snake be shown in AC so I think raiden would be a swordsmen non cyborg form and snake..... idk..

Except Raiden has hardly nothing to do with MGS. No Solid Snake = No MGS

Seriously, anyone who has played the MG series knows Raiden was the sore spot.

And we all know you can't fit that many cutscenes on an old fashion DVD, it goes without saying. Core features are already cut from these games for the 360, you can't have the perks.
