Borderlands Xbox 360 version is on fire while PS3 version is struggling

Your guys ps3 network is so broken I can see why no one has boughten Borderlands. I mean after all it is an online co-op RPG shooter that is best enjoyed by friends. Hey hows that cross game chat coming along I hear they will have it figured out with the ps4.

P.S. I own Uncharted and Uncharted 2 those are like the few ps3 games worth owning such a weak library for the ps3.

Too true, I was playing this as a friends house. It's pretty much a more accessible Fallout 3 clone if that's possible, but the art style, gangs and rundown world in the game reminds me of Tank Girl. Co op is a great idea, I used to watch my mates play Fallout 3 and now I can hop in and join in with quests and the levels stay the same whenever leaving a SP/Co-Op game.

But sadly I can see the reason for this not selling because there is a lot more games out there for PS3 at this time, just in general, there is a lot more to choose from. I'm struggling to buy games myself, so I'm just renting them, I mean, I'm a die hard ND fan and I RENTED and completed Uncharted 2 and aim to do the same with R&C:CiT.

All this really shows to me is that people only with 360s buy what is most commonly suggested to buy as I've previously seen over and over again and other than Forza3 and ODST, there really was only Borderlands in October 360 releases. I can see how the game has been slightly ignored on PS3 though, there is currently a really good load of games in different genres all around the same time and most of them are exclusives.

You are exactley the gammer that gives this industry a bad name.Grow up.The game is good and it doesnt matter what console sells more then the other.Its going to be the gammers loss for not trying it.Dont get your panties in a knot just because there more games out there to play then just borderlands.My god who cares of the ps3 has more to play and the xbox doesnt.Not that big of a deal unless its some jack a$$ like yourself who only wants to hear himself writing usless posts about nothing.I have both consoles and I personally dont care what console I play the game on just as long as Im playing it with the other true gammers out there.

I platinumed Borderlands if that explains my "gamming" stance, I just think gearbox will jump ship, they already produced Halo on PC. So, you know them and Microsoft are on good terms.

Gearbox's port of Halo on PC was terrible. It's a shame because the Halflife game spin offs were top notch but after Halo PC I was totally put off by any Gearbox developed game after that.
I can see Gearbox slowly coming back now though, Borderlands is a really good return to form.

I remember Halo 1 having quite a strong community for awhile on PC, and it was the only version of it with online play. Sure you aren't confusing it with Halo 2 on PC? I don't think Gearbox did that one, admittedly Gearbox has been in a slump, but after what they accomplished with Borderlands I think they may actually be up to snuff to take over Halo 4 when Bungie gets tired.

I would actually rather play with a 1000 people tops in a community that is active most of the day. It would mean they are more inclined to put up with you and be more polite. Not like the game takes place on a map that fits more than 16 people, I don't know what the premium of a million more people crowding a matchmaking server would be. Lag?

You remember last year with the ps3 version of Modern Warfare....had to wait a couple of weeks for the patch....and I never had a problem finding a game on modern warfare with about a handful of games with lag but nothing gamebreaking for me.

the only problem was in 2007 in December where xbox live was down for like a week..and we got a free game out of that...so I dont think so on the lag part my friend.
