3 - i for one have some questions for the ppl bashing the ps3..

1. would you take the ps3 if it were free.

2. why...?

i see no reason to make one system look more bad then the other.

i had a 360 (was robed on chrismas eve) and i was very glad of it, but i also like my ps3, there are not that many games for it right now, but i am looking forword to the once that are comming.

ps. i think this guy must realy having alot work on his hands with all the bad pr that sony has gotten since the launche..

4 - Big cry babies

People live to bash MS/360 this guy isn't alone. The day MS does to Sony what Sony did/does to MS; i'll stop purchasng their products. 360/2.5, Spring launch thunder stealing scam etc. etc.) MS's is attacked so offten it makes 360 fans not want to visit game sites and this guy's crying about people saying theres no games and PS3 too exspinsive plus noticing the PS3 isn't what was promised.

No one's going out of thier way to spite the PS3 out of envy or will even bother with bashing PS3/titles: Uncharted, Heavenly Sword and other PS3 hype building success in normal situations. Sony has had it easy, people complain about price and lack of sotware and its realalistic capabilites other than that!; no one's actively seeking to tarnish the PS3 as the Sony fans do with the 360. Media will buzz on whatever being talked about.

#5: The level of prejudice against "both" systems is amazing, People tag the PR filth with the PS3, come on bro, The PS3 is 3X more powerful than the 360, PS3's lauch games would be untouchable durring the 360's entire life span and all the other HD resalution Bullshit, reaching for the Sun jibba jabba.

And the 360 is hated due to the fact it's a threat to the PS legacy.

We'll see if that dude can undo the damage fast enough; no one wants to be lied to it's like a Cars Sales man Saying this and that and selling you a lemon(not saying PS3's a Lemon but that does upset people in simular ways).

Go play your god dam PS3, will you have fun yes; will it change what this PR guy's facing no!.

Millions waited on the PR promisses of how revolutionary the capabillties the PS3 was going to have over the 360 last Sping and later when it actualy launched on day one and it wasn't as said, that was an attack on MS and this guys crying because people are saying it's too exspensive and has lack of software that the bulk of casual consumer care about.

The PS3 is exactly what it promised. The most technologically advanced console today. Granted it hasnt delivered but it still has more than enough room to deliver. The amount of negative spin behind the PS3 is amazing. I remember the day i bought the PS3 from eb games. The guy that sold it to me told me so much bull it was amazing. Such as
1. You can't change the hard drive
2. The batteries for the controller arent rechargable
3. Has a very high failure rate
4. And a lot more...
Whats worse is i bought all that crap. I was this close to changing my mind on the whole console until he started convincing me to get an xbox360 which i already had. I was this close to not getting the game. The level of prejudice against this system is amazing i mean this coming from an eb games employee. WOW.

8 - People just love bashing the PS3 because theyre not in a good position

but in reality that position just forces sony to work harder and deliver, some of the greatest stuff entertainment has to offer to us gamers. Criticism isnt a bad thing guys.

Follow-up on Sonarus-i was in the same situation

Some employee at my eb games walked over to a bunch of people at the ps3 demo station and was doing the same thing. He was ranting on and on about ps3 failure rate, how ugly it was compared to the xbox360, and how the xbox360 graphics was 10xs better. This was a couple of days after launch. He probably convinced these people too. Now that dude was a fanboy(trust me -i've seen fanboys but he was ridiculous). He actually danced saying "Xbox" when i asked to by a ps2 game that was in the horror/action genre.

10 - not too shabby of an interview

he still can't turn off his PR machine brain when answering questions, but overall, his answers to questions were truthful, and it lacked most of the hyperbole associated with PR.

the fact of the matter is that the PS3 is powerful, but like any console, that power is never tapped right out of the gate (or did Kameo max out the 360 back in 2005? thought not).

a truth that many in the media and across the net refust to admit (though we know it's the truth), is that not a single one of us who bought a PS3, 360, or Wii bought one for the launch titles. we bought launch games so we'd have something to do with our systems (though Resistance is a great game, whether it was launch, or released a year later), but the primary reason why we bought our respective consoles were for the *FUTURE.

360 owners rushed out to get the 360 why? for Kameo? Call of Duty? no. they bought it for Halo 3, which was a full 2 years away at the time. any games that come out between then are gravy. they got 360's for Mass Effect, Bioshock, Too Human, Fable 2, as well as the aforementioned Halo 3, games that have yet to be released yet.

Wii owners bought the Wii for Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and the new Wii Zelda. games that have yet to be released.

PS3 owners bought the PS3 for games like Final Fantasy XIII, MGS4, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone, Uncharted. games that have yet to be released.

the truth is, it's never just one single title that have our interests piqued, and not one single title is ever woth the asking price of a console, whether it be $250, or $600. we are gamers. we play *GAMES. not game. not one, but many.

yeah, the PS3 may not be worth $600 for just MGS4, but how about MGS4 *PLUS FFXIII, and FF Versus XIII, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Ratchet and Clank Future, and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and Little Big Planet, and Killzone, and whatever game Team Ico is cooking up, and SOCOM, and Warhawk, and Heavenly Sword? *NOW you're talkin'.

i don't get how people willing choose to ignore the fact that it takes time to make a AAA title, and that it's usually not until a year after a console's release that we start to see it's worth (ie, Gears of War on the 360, Super Smash Bros on the Wii, and Uncharted on the PS3, to name but a few). the willingful ignorance of these facts from some people boggles my mind. it really does.

CALM DOWN People the 360 had crappy games its first 8 months or so lets wait and see. Was GOW a launch title NOPE, give it time MGS4,HS,LAIR,GRAW2 all systems need time for quailty games to arrive.

the 360 had some decent games for it's first 8 months on the market, so does the PS3.

it wasn't until a year after launch that the 360 got Gears of War, and months after that before Lost Planet and Crackdown hit.

the PS3 gets Ninja Gaiden Sigma in July, then the floodgates open in September, but August has some good stuff coming out until then also.

this bickering is pointless.

all consoles start off slow.
