I am sure if you have got platinum trophy in Uncharted Drakes Fortune, you get some sort of in game reward in Uncharted 2.

I am sure someone from NG said it during the early phases of UC2 development.

Uk magazine, PSM3, confirmed in their latest issue that you get in-game currency for uncharted 1 trophies. So there you go..

They talked about this. I think it gets you 100,000 credits if you played the game and another 20,000 if you've beat it.

Don't be deterred when Crushing seems impossible in the first level; You will start to get use to it and the rest of the game will seem easy in comparison.... Except when you fight the last guy(for some reason I can't remember his name), but by then, you'll have worked too hard and will hang in till you make it by luck!

crushing was a pain in the @ss!

but the platinum was worth it!

pillage is right, ND did say uncharted trophies give you in game credit to spend, but i would be happy if the plat gave you something extra.

I'm the opposite, i hope uncharted 2 rewards you by trophies and not game saves. Because before i did everything in the game and got the platinum trophy but my save file got corrupted recently. But i still have the trophies

I agree Shadow! I started UC2 on my 20gb and then won a contest from PSM and continued it on the 80gb I received by transferring my Gamesave, but when I went to beat it on Crushing it wouldn't give me the Plat!

So after playing 2 MORE times on Crushing on the 80gb and it not unlocking I gave up on it.....well for only a month or so (lol). I decided to try it one last time on my 20gb and BAM! I finally got my Platinum, but now the only thing is I have 1 Gamesave on my 80gb that is 99% complete but can't unlock Platinum and 1 Gamesave on my 20gb that has the Platinum but is missing all the misc. things like kill X times, find all treasures, knock out X times etc.

I really hope it is by PSN login w/ Trophy count, and not via Gamesave. If not then screw it, I just won't have the extra cash at the start...I'll still enjoy it and play for my next Platinum no matter what though. Hopefully it is a combo of ways to get it for everyone.

oh man I got 100% in the first one. Crushing was beast. I remember I did the level where Drake's in knee deep water with pirates coming around from all sides for a good 37 times. o_0

I HAD ONE F***ING BLAST SHARD LEFT AND THEN I HAD TO RETURN THE GAME TO THE VIDEO STORE. ;_;

I also was like 2 missions away from beating it on hard. I should get that game for Christmas. It was so awesome...

I was towards the end of my 1st playthrough, which was on hard and had 5 shards left! I spent quite some times to track them down but it was totally worth it! I somehow got lucky with the stunts especially the one where you need to make 3 enemies high fall at once! I've finished my 1st plathrough and what left were those from the evil playthrough! when I was about 80% the evil playthrough, there was when I got unlucky because my PS3 just suddenly YLoD on me and my game stuck inside! but that was another story!

I had the same problem with the shards, until I went to look at the docks/bay areas, just travel on the edge of the islands while pressing R3 and you'll eventually find them all.

on topic, cool I got that Plat in just 3 days, I'm pretty you will also unlock multiplayer skins from U:DF for having this trophy. Like Navarro and Eddy. Oct.13 cant come soon enough.

I went through almost a whole map of blast shards, marking each area I checked and couldn't find it. The last place to check was one of the dock with the cranes, and I ended up dying there. So on my way back to get there, I found the last blast shard on a building, and for some reason it wouldn't even show up on the radar.

I believe there's only two trophies that involve multiplayer, both being extremely easy

1. Complete a competitive game.
2. Complete a co-operative game.
