at target. it was on clearance. brand new...

most of these game deserves more attention. Dark Sector, demos not so bad. but this game flopped so bad i saw it at a Fry's in Sacremento for only 5 bucks.

Okami is the most underappreciated game EVER.

Count the number of games that try to do what Zelda does. Then count how many actually top Zelda. If you're counting on your fingers, you should have one digit remaining to represent Okami.

Its visuals have not aged at all. The celestial brush works MUCH better with the Wii remote. It's still jam packed with more hours of gameplay than most releases.

Yet it still hasn't gotten the recognition it deserves. It has been released on the two best-selling consoles of this gen and the last one, and it probably hasn't cracked half a million in combined sales.

Valkyria Chronicles should be on that list. It's my second favourite IP this gen behind Uncharted. Yes it's that good ;) The game is just amazing...
But I blame SEGA for releasing that horrible demo.

I'm so glad there is a sequel!!!

Dead space no doubt, terribly under appreciated. The darkness too is definitely deserving of it's place on that list, a real good story driven game with some amazing moments.

I'd personally throw in Mirror's edge, I know it was hyped before release but I think reviewers were too harsh on it. For something trying to actually do something new and break new ground I thought it was really well done and had beautiful visuals that were a welcome break from all the browny grey macho shooters.

Dead Space was great...I hesitated at first buying that game because it had the symbol of overhyped bad franchise games "EA" logo on it. Glad that all the good reviews talked me into buying it.

For the PS3, I would add Red Faction Guerilla to the list. PS3 owners didn't buy very many copies of this game, but it was really outsanding imo.

Enough with the "valkyria underappreciated spot" on each list of the genre .

For the 9999th time , valkyria easily outperformed any expectations for a new SRPG ip .

You dont usually sell 500 000 units of a strategy rpg or tactical rpg UNLESS you are a final fantasy or super robot taisen title . You just DONT .

It's even worse with Deadspace . It came on as a entirely new survival horror ip with a new resident evil and silent hill on the horizon . And yet it sold easily above a million .
it's EA's damn problem if they expect all their game to perform like a fifa , but hardly people ignoring it or the game failing in sales .

Valkeria Chronicles is just that good.

IMO its not as good as Final Fantasy Tactics (I thought the story was more epic), but it is the next best SRPG and one of the best overall RPG's in recent years.

seriously , it's one of those awesome PSN exclusive no one talks about , and Deadspace who sells over a million is underappreciated ?

People just dont seems to get that 100k is already a lot of dough for many game , and that one million is huge ...

17.1 - Dark Sector
I especially liked when he said Dark Sector had a "decent" story. I own it (it was like 5 bucks new) and I can say it has one of the most poorly conceived and executed stories of any game I've ever played. Ever. That said, for five bucks it was good enough for a couple hours of mindless limb removal.

Valkyria Chronicles, Everyday Shooter, Folklore, Demon's Souls, Mirror's Edge, No More Heroes, PixelJunk games, ect.? That list is crap!

Dead Space and especially Okami were incredible, though. But as for the rest of the list...

BTW, did WipEout HD sell well? That's another superb games, and for a bargain price.

It was got a Western release because people wanted it so bad they imported it. But it's still going to be an underappreciated gem, especially dropping right before Uncharted 2 and while the Uncharted 2 public multipayer demo is available (not that I haven't been playing it too... ).
