Forza Motorsport 3 vastly improved its tire system with the help of the Mclaren Racing Team and huge brand name tire companies. The grip is much better and so is the weight of the car. Also turn off all the aids and go manual w/ clutch and try to keep up with the leaderboard times its harder than hell. However hard does not equal real as any idiot can drive a car fast.

Funny thing is he only uses two pictures and GT5p still looks better. The Ferrari in the GT5p pic actually looks like Ferrari red while the Fortza Ferrari looks like stop sign red except with a plastic feel.

edit: @ LiQuiFiedArt, actually FordGTguy is kind right. Any idiot can drive a car fast but it takes a good driver to keep it on the road.

Can any idiot drive a course with a consistently fast lap time? Can any idiot toss a football under pressure and to a receiver that's 30 yards out? Can any idiot get a high score in Galaga? Can any idiot write a book as meaningful as, let's say a Kurt Vonnegut book is?

HUGE gap between doing something and doing something well. That's why I personally stick with the Gran Turismo franchise mostly (I DO play other racing games. I love them).

we have been lead to believe that forza series was a better looking and playing game than the GT series.

as for driving,that would come down to preference.so i won't go there.

but graphics?we were told by microsoft and their dev teams that 360 produced better visuals and would always have the graphics advantage.but they always come up short compared to ps3 exclusives.

fans of 360 were saying forza2 looked great.but then sony showed one ferrari on the road with GTHD and fans of forza said"look,it's just one car.""that's why it looks so good."

but then sony put 16 cars of the same graphics level as that "ONE CAR" and the mouths were shut on what sony was producing.not only that,but the lighting and resolution outdid forza as well.

so 360 fans ran to paint jobs and 360 physics and online community.when everyone was still talking about graphics.they called GT5:p a demo that gamers paid for.but "THE DEMO" was still better looking than the full release of forza2.and it still looks better than forza3.

and now we are finding out about turn-10's bait and switch method of lying not just to forza fans,but the whole gaming community.it deserves to be compared.and forza3 deserves all the bashing it gets for their arrogance.no matter if it plays well or not.

What has any of that got to do with the fact that you're comparing a demo with 2 year old code and a bunch of teaser videos that could have been edited in all kinds of ways? We wont TRULY know which is the better game until both are finished and in the hands of consumers. WE might have a damn good idea, but you can't make a definitive or "unbiased" call until the final products are done.

^ AFAIK, the community has been comparing the graphics of the two games, not necessarily the gameplay or physics itself. Graphic quality of the two has been the primary concern because of Turn 10 saying their game was the definitive and best looking of this generation.

Che told us it could look better and that it's not perfect, and he told us the screenies were photomode with added DOF, motion blur, and AA. But Che still continued to play as if those screenies were indeed real F3 in-game graphics because he continues to say those assets are still all in-game.

"Aside from the added effects such as AA, DOF, and motion blur, all assets you see in photomode are the same although I do stand corrected on one factor which is the player car. They do have higher detail in photomode while all other cars, the environments, etc. are exactly what you see in game. And as you know in replays everything is the same. "

Notice he emphasizes and reiterates all assets being the same and in game. So even though he did mention that the screenies are indeed bullshots, the continued mentioning of WYSIWYG is word trickery in making people think the screenies are representative of the actual gameplay.

So all in all, people are still complaining and arguing about Turn10's arrogant stance on graphic supremacy when it came to definitive racer of this generation. And people are using the 2-yo demo to show that Turn10 had been wrong since their little speech.
