It really is a great deal. Same price as buying a regular elite, 2nd controller, and regular edition of MW2 - but with this you get 250gb instead of 120gb and an MW2 decorated console.

MS is really in a great position. They have their own system-selling exclusives like Halo and Gears, and now a multi-platform game (and the year's biggest game) will be a bigger system seller for MS than it will be for the competition.

WOW this is amazing! 250GB HDD now? Freakin nice....dont really care about anything else since I already own a 360 though. But nice to know 250GB HDDs are coming. I'm buying one for sure.

But this bundle will definitely push some units this year. Getting all that for only 399.99? Getting a full on new game alone is good enough reason but a 250GB, 2 wireless controllers, a headset is some good stuff.

I think everyone is too optimistic about this announcement. Say what you will, but bundling a multiplatform sequel from the same game generation is not going to push that many console units. Everyone who is buying MW2 already owns a console. Everyone who is new to Xbox hasnt even played MW1. So how would this increase console sales?

If little Timmys friends have a 360, hes likely to get one too.If little Timmy wants MW2, hes even more likely to get this.
Tack on a extra controller and the game with that PS3 and your looking at basically the same money.
But then you dont get some cool stickers and have a smaller HD.
But you do gain Bluray.....

I know of 3 people who are using a week's worth of vacation days to play this game when it comes out. All of them have preordered the Prestige Edition and believe me, they will all go out and get these limited editions.

This will not sell at $400, not a chance in hell, and the skin is not that great, all it really is a big 2 on the front and some white strikes on the sides, whats so great about this. An Elite or PS3 at $299 + $49.99 for an extra controller, + MW2 ($59.99) will cost you the same as this bundle -$5 or $10.

I say skip this, and if you want to show your love for all things COD:MW2 then go out and buy a regular Elite/PS3 and pick up the Harden or Prestige Edition of the game, I guarantee that you will be more satisfied...

If you don't have a next gen system then odds are you haven't played the first MW. If you haven't played the first MW then how excited are you going to get for part 2? At least when MS made the RE5 LE system that was Resident Evil and pretty much everybody (new customers alike) has heard of the name. Basically I see this selling just to the hardcore MW 360 players already out there (the type of guy who pre-ordered the Prestige Edition the day it was announced), but not to new customers. If they make 500,000 I'll go as far as to say 400,000 are going to be repeat 360 buyers.

EDIT: Some of the greatest games this gen are PS3 or 360 exclusives (mostly PS3). Games such as TLG, UC2, GOWIII, KZ2, HR etc. are of MUCH higher quality than any multiplat which is why PS3 owners love exclusives. 360 exclusives don't look much better than multiplats so that's why you don't care.

There's your problem - you are assuming that graphics are what makes a game great. Graphics are important, but it takes a total package of graphics, control, variety, longevity, etc. to make a great game.

Quality is your opinion unless you can back it up with reviews, and 360 and PS3 have roughly equal numbers of games rated 80+ on metacritic (each console has 5 90+ games). 360 owners love exclusives too, and fortunately there are PLENTY of highly rated exclusives to go with the multi-plats.
