Rumored PS Store Content for 09/03/09

PlayStation LifeStyle writes:

"This week, we will be getting a couple downloadable games. NBA2K10 Draft Combine will be hitting this week. The US PS Store will be getting Battle Tanks which EU received last week. Also Capcom's Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable (review coming soon) will be available for download. Lastly we hope to see some more Dynamic Themes, as well as some premium Avatars. Trine has re-entered Sony's Q&A testing process, so there is a chance we will finally get it this week."

I'm still waiting on Trine. I don't want to pay the premium price for the PC version. Whatever bug(s) they're dealing with, they better break out the RAID soon.

I hope there's a significant number of dynamic themes that are resonbably priced. SONY messed up by not having a free trial for LBP.

I wonder what the new avatars will look like.

Will they be small ones and big ones, considering its confined in a box now :(

We'll see if Sony messed up with LBP theme when the attach rate is know. I personally bought it. If you want a free one create a japan account and download the Africa them (off the hook).

I doubt it cost much to make these themes so If a decent amount of people (likely) purchase it then they will make money, and that is what they are in the industry for.

Sev, do you have ANY idea if the NBA 2K10 Combine is coming to the EU region, more specifically Australia? I've heard no, which just makes no sense considering the game has been well received here and we also have helped the NBA with 3 players now apart of the league. Just wouldn't make sense to me for Australia not to get it.

I am in pretty good with 2KSports, I will send an email and see if I can get a response for you. I mostly deal with the US division, so I am not sure if I can get an answer for you.

Awesome, thanks mate.

The NBA is surprisingly a massive market down in Aus.

Having Andrew Bogut, Patrick Mills, Nathan Jawai and now David Anderson (Forgot him when thinking of Aussies) in the NBA helps now too.

We've also had some previous stars of our National competition make it over in the states with our best player Andrew Gaze even winning a Championship with San Antonio.

We've never really been treated very well by 2K though when it comes to NBA games. Always had numerous delays with the PS2 games and they wouldn't come until months after it released to the rest of the world. But I've stuck with it for a fair while now over Live.

I'm not as big a fan as some and my interests have wavered since the Pacers have gone down in form and it's a little hard to follow with the limited TV coverage (Although it is getting better now), but if you want to see some upset people check out this thread over at the 2K Forum (18 pages worth!!!): http://2ksports.com/forums/...

but please.. don't use 3 pages in order to show little articles..

i visit your website regularly, but i hate when i have to click 2 more pages to read 10 more sentences... don't get "hits" hungry, it doesn't go with you bro..

and the same with xbox lifestyle.. at least use another name so people don't think you're a two face, praising the ps3 one day and putting it down the next..

First off, it's the format. Plain and simple. It's a way to break it apart. Some weeks its filled with content, and the 3 page system makes perfect sense. This week isn't the case.

Second. I never in my life once put down the PS3. I still prefer the PS3 over Xbox 360. Yesterday's article was about sales, not about bashing the PS3.

The "LifeStyle" moniker is my BRAND. Why would I make another site, with a different name and make in unrecognizable.

Why don't you leave running my websites to me. I am doing just fine.

9 - Confirmed Content...

Looks pretty bare bones. I'm intrigued by Battle Tanks which looks like an old school top-down shooter with tanks thrown in the mix. That's about it for confirmed content.

Here's hoping for Fallout 3 DLC for the PSN!! LONG OVERDUE!

Also some new avatars & dynamic themes would be nice.
