IncGamers' Tim McDonald looks at Square Enix's newest IP aimed at Western audiences.
"Nier is yet another example of Square Enix breaking with tradition. This is a new IP for the current-gen consoles, with a game type that, to my knowledge, the company has yet to attempt – the Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden-like action/adventure. It has been designed, from the word go, to appeal specifically to a Western audience. A group of journalists including myself sat down with Yosuke Saito, the title's executive producer, to get a look at a very early build of the title."
