Depends on how the Take Two lawsuit ends, 3DR can either win, keep the publishing rights, and gain enough cash to pick up production again or Take Two will win, take the source code and do what ever they want with it.

Oh man, this confirms nothing! It just says that "this" man worked for on the PC/360 version, doesn't proof it's ms exclusive again...

I'd agree with u if it were any position except animator/modeler.

That is one of the positions that would really develop content for all platforms being developed for.

Microsoft doesn't support PC gaming and kind of see it almost as a threat to pushing 360s so it's not really Microsoft exclusive.

"Duke Nukem Forever Was Being Developed For The P.C/X360"

Sure it was. Until it would have jumped to Xbox 720/PC. I sense a pattern...

2 - Someone should snatch up the IP.
Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up in Microsoft / Sony press conference. I have a weird suspicion that Microsoft brought rights to publishing the game, and toke it in house for development. This is the type of game you would expect on the X360. But then again, EA might have got a hold of it. Who knows..?!?

Edit: In fact it still is.

It was only confirmed for PC, never for any console, even if they did imagine how many console cycles it would have to go through!

I never was introduced to this series, but I am a huge fan of the humor that seems to be present in previous games in the series. I watched some gameplay released after the game was killed, and it looked nearly done. Ghostbusters got picked up, and I hope this does too. Whether it be sony or microsoft, or even a Ubisoft or EA; it would be an injustice to the brand and the people who put everything into getting the game this far only to see it collapse because of the present economic situation.

You know what I think would be hilarious?

If Nintendo bought the rights.

With them getting as much M titles as far as they can reach, would not surprise me.

IMO, they would have to redo the engine. Look at the games that are out right now?

The game looks very fun, at least from what *I* saw and, well.. there are just so many games that are better looking than this.

The only way I can see this moving forward on the fastrack is if Microsoft bought them out, and they are working right now, redoing aspects of their engine and whatnot to keep up with current tech, because in all honesty... the games visuals are lacking compared to most of the big hitters released thus far.

it might be just me, but I think Duke belongs on the x360 and would be weird otherwise, like making Gears for Sony or Nintendo...

I agree, it only feels right having the good popular shooters on XBox 360 and the Sony made, wanna-bes on PS3.

9 - That's no surprise
They develop slower than anything, so since the 360 is closer to a PC than the PS3 in terms of architecture, a 360 port was expected... in 2025.

For the huge ass development period and money waster it'd have to be on every platform to make up for loses.

Either way, at no point in time did I recognize what was partiularly good about this game. I personally thought the Zer Punctuation review was dead on

... I am officially sick of hearing about this game.
