10 Ways Madden Simulation Was Freakishly Accurate

PWN or DIE took the time to use Madden NFL 09 to simulate the NFC Championship Game that was played on Sunday between the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles. They had no idea that our simulation would be so accurate, getting the Cardinals' final score right and only being off by 4 on the Eagles' final point tally. After further review, here are the top 10 things our madden simulation got right.

4 - madden has always been pretty close
you'll get some seasons (if you play only the first year and simthe first year multiple times) where teams don't beat the same people as in the real NFl but still all the teams end up with the same record(in madden) as the real NFL or close to it. You gotta give EA credit for the sim engine thats for sure.

Yeah, gotta give credit where credit is due. I'm not that big into football so if I play Madden and sim some games in Franchise, then it's just a button for me. I hit it then I get to play my team again. Interesting to see that that sim can go a lot farther than I ever imagined.

Philly missed a field goal and a PAT, thats the four points missing form the simulation. freaky

6 - Laugh at the word simulation being in the same sentence as Madden.
Not since 04/05 versions has there been anything in Madden resembling simulation. Still interesting that the game was that accurate.
