Gears of War like game comes to PSP soon

"In 2008 we saw hit titles such as God of War: Chains of Olympus and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, which both sold phenomenally. It looks as though the PSP will have another great year with a brand new title that is very Gears of War-like for the handheld.

There is a small title that slipped under most people's radar that looks very promising for the PSP. The game has gameplay mechanics like a cover system similar to that of Gears of War. The game that I am referring to is Resistance: Retribution. This title for the handheld slipped by us at E3 with very little coverage despite looking pretty good for a PSP title."

Yeah, Gears Of War invented the cover system.
Crackdown just copied that system, even Metal Gear Solid.

To be more recent even killswitch had the cover system before gears of war but the game just wasnt really popular and it was not as well implemented as in gears of war.

I cant see insomniac making a crappy title now tho. The game should be great.

this game is made by Sony Bend, which made the syphon filters games on PSP, second game already have the same cover system as Gears.

Damn I thought this was some new title, but still Resistance Retribution does look like a god title.

The article didn't mention co-op... I think co-op would be an excellent addition.

Doesnt anyone else think it is ironic how the title of the article uses a microsoft exclusive to describe a sony exclusive??? if it is a resistence spin off why didnt they use that in the title.....I guess u cant help but realize that gears trumps resistence any day LOL LMAO
