If you mean 'patched' as in first having to download the patch then also install it you are right, it doesn't. Most updates don't take more than 3-4 seconds to install and use. Imagine that! As long as the patches add things instead of taking things away, like the Home chat downgrade, I don't see the problem. =)

I never came across this cheating stuff, but updates are always nice. Glad to see dedicated console servers too. We need as much of that as we can get.

if you have got an HDTV the graphics dont suck as much. they are greatly improved compared to SDTV viewing. as a buyer of this game i recomend you and your freinds to buy this game as you will have loads of good ol ''FUN'' GAMING.

8 PLAYER VERSUS IS VERY GOOD IMO. WITH 4 PLAYER TAKING THE HUMAN PLAYERS. another 4 taking the role of the bosses so to speak (a hunter, a smoker, a boomer and a special one called the tank) the 4 zombie players are acompionied by the full hordes of zombies meaning no play through is the exactly the same. the thrill of running through hospitals with a hundred zombies SPRINTING after you will make you know that you done the right thing and bought the game. yes graphics do look like the 1-2 wave of games to be out for the consoles BUT!! gameplay none the less wins the day this time around.

i hope this quick review will give you an insode to what you can expect as you are missing out on few games that do what this game does so good.
