^^ the first batch of videos that came for the preview code had a couple of instances confirming the awesome uncharted effects...although they seemingly didn't happen in the large Corinth river (a few vids showed the water being shot with only a splash, but no ripples)...however shooting puddles and running through them in Blood Meridian had the rippling effects...

hope its all in the final game...realistic fluid physics is my second favorite tech side of gaming, just behind lighting...

I was skeptical about Killzone 2 before (it seemed like it might only have amazing graphics and no substance) but this plus the game videos and plethora of non stop praise for this game has pushed me over to the point where I am now drooling to get this game!!!!

Anybody in their RIGHT mind would have already bought a PS3 of their funds so allowed it and if they have not, then this game should some how spur them on to do so now. If you do not have the funds, resort to begging. It works every time.

9 - Put fanboyism aside 360 fans
and just get a PS3 with this game. I love my 60 gig PS3 equally with my 360. It really is a good system, and when you see what the system can do with KZ2 and to know there is still years to get stuff out of the system... it really is a impressive console and trust me it's worth the money!

I also feel PS3 fanboys are missing out on PLENTY of great games 360 offers also, no matter how good KZ2 looks... still don't make 360 games less awesome!

Be gamers not fanboys!... when your a gamer you have nothing to lose!

Great post!

I have both consoles and you are exactly right, they are both great consoles. You miss out on too many good games if you don't have both consoles.

If you don't have the money to buy both consoles I can understand, but you should simply pick the console that works the best for you and enjoy it. Don't become a fanboy crusader like so many people on this site.

Man, its sex for the eyes, and I always though having sex was sex for the eyes.

I can't wait to get this months subscription of OPM in the mail.

If OPM gave Killzone 2 a perfect score, then I'm predicting plenty of other favorable review scores from other places for Killzone 2 because OPM doesn't just dish out perfect/high scores for PS3 exclusives. I think the only PS3 exclusive games they've given a perfect score to is MGS4 and LBP.

When it comes to OPM review scores, to me they are pretty unbiased and sometimes I think they are a little harsh because they gave Motorstorm Pacific Rift a 3/5, while most other non-Playstation reviewers gave it a 8.0/10 or higher.

The only other thing I want is a Collectors Edition to go along with this Killzone 2 because I would buy it without a doubt.

yeah they seem pretty fair...R2 got a 4/5 as well...cod 4 did receive a 5 last year I believe, but not worried about it...as that too was a great shooter...this game doesn't even look like its from the same generation of consoles though...and the beta alone proved to me that this will become one of the most addictive shooters I have ever played online...

I agree, if they do it this will literally kill anything being released at that time and days to come. Hell even if they dont advertise, this game will pretty much sell itself. The only game i see having trouble outselling and im going to get will be Resident Evil 5.
