Whats with all the Sony fanboys swarming over the nNintendo ones? Between my Wii and computer, I don't have enoughtime to play all my games. I have 11 Wii games and 5 of them are 1st party and only one crappy 3rd party game (Dragon Blade : Wrath of fire). My first game console was the PS1, then I got a PS2 followed by Gamecube and now I have A Wii and also picked up an original Xbox because of a few really good games. When you thihnk about it. Keeping a Wii even if it doesn't have tons of great games (I think it does btw) is perhaps one pf the most hardcore things ever. And btw for Xbox fanboys, Gow is actually extremely casual. Thin plotline, mind numbingly easy gameplay and blood, violence and swearing do not make it hardcore.

wtf are you doing here bashing Sony? and only Sony fans?? have you read the article? this guy said he now prefers 360 more than Wii and thus 360 is the best and he sold his Wii for that reason! if you really want to make sense, bash the guy who wrote the article, not specifically bashing Sony fans for that matter which made you look stupid! it's ok and good for you if Wii is the best for you but you can't stop/curse people for selling theirs because it's not you who bought the damn thing for them!

From what I am reading I can divide the readers here into very distinct groups. Older more mature gamers who understand that the Wii is a new breed of gaming. And the other group, young so called "Hardcore Gamers" who are scared sh!tless that the Wii will forever change the face of gaming.

The fact is that the Wii has already hurt the PS3 and 360 far more than anyone wants to admit. Nintendo has proven that the Wii is NOT a fad and that a lot more people want to play games than the "hardcore" want to admit. Nintendo realized that game production is getting way too expensive and offered a cheaper option to produce games for big compans and smaller companys alike.

Now, while we sit here and helplessly watch our precious developers slowly drop like flies, we are starting to see more and more games switch to the Wii console because it is a more logical choice.

The list for February and March alone show that developers are beginning to take the Wii extremely seriously in this tough economic time with triple AAA titles like the, Madworld, Sonic and the Black Knight, Rune Factory Frontier, Tenchu Four, Little Kings Story, House Of The Dead Overkill, Deadly Creatures etc.

And what scares you All even more is that your favorite company's whether it be Microsoft or Sony are already copying the Wii so they can stay a float. 360 avatars ring a bell? Ever heard of Sony making a motion controlled controller? (no I'm not talking about the crappy siaxis.)

Your all scared, because your little worlds is changing and the only thing you can do about it is, cry.

some of the comments say that the wii/nintendo/3rd parties don't make "hardcore" games anymore?! nintendo has always been about family type stuff. mario, zelda, donkey kong. nintendo is getting more 'M' rated games now too. the earliest violent nintendo game i can think of would be Conker's Bad Fur Day, and that was for the n64. i wouldn't say nintendo has abandoned us. as long a good games like mario, keep getting pumped out, everything should be ok.i mean its not like madden, which comes every year. the wii looks like it will have many great games this year, so i wouldn't sell the wii just yet. there really hasn't been much for the wii this year though, i just got tatsunoko vs capcom, which is a wii exclusive. i haven't stopped playing it since it got it. the wii just has a bigger audience now.
hopefully now we can move on from "video games kill people" or "Video games make children violent", type crap now that more casual people are playing them now. and yes, the wii has lots of shovelware, but didn't the PSX and PS2 also have shovelware too?

also i bought a wii for the type of games too. i don't really care for FPS, which the ps3, & 360 have so i bought a wii, which has what type of games i play,action/adventure games, and next year looks even better for the wii.

The Conduit is going to be great because it has the best control system available on a console shooter that has yet existed. Mad World looks like it will be awesome. Sin and Punishment as well. Personally I'm looking forward to Punch-out and Wii Sports resort/Wii motion plus. And if Monster Hunter 3 comes to the U.S. it will be a first day purchase. Keep in mind that Nintendo hasn't revealed a whole lot regarding their releases for this year yet. A Zelda game made from the ground up for Wii is in our relative near future.

If you happen to have moved on, or enjoy another console better now then more power to ya. But don't act as if some b.s. epiphany is a shining light for all gamers. Alot of us still enjoy our Wii even as we enjoy our PS3's and/or 360's. And truthfully speaking, the time to abandon ship on the Wii for profit purposes was a year or two ago, when the things were going for $500 on Ebay with nothing more than Wii Sports with it. I've got almost 30 Wii games, most of them heavily played. If I sold them all at half price and the console for 300'ish I'd make an easy grand and change. Not worth it though.

Gears of war franchise SUX. anybody taking points about me not bashing a game, hear me out first. Gears is the "BAd Dudes" of this gen. its pretty and you feel like a bad dude when you chainsaw a guy. hell if they add marcus phoenix saying "I'm BAd!" its bad dudes. It will be forgotten 10 years from now. Bad dudes was awesome for its time. punch kick, sweep kick jump kick shout "I'm bad" in 8 bit glory. awesome. but who the hell would play that now? no one or a select few. Gears run, duck, shoot, chainsaw. Hear Delta shout manly "I'm Bad" type phrases, get pissed off by Cole trains sterotypical stupidity and hoodness. Its the same crap it will be forgotten. hell I already forgot what the hell part 1 had for its sorry cheesy story.
