Every year, it gets tougher and tougher to pick the winners. This year was no exception and we had to really challenge ourselves to come up with the best of the best.

If this was a poll how many votes were cast?
Could visitors vote multiple times?
Who choose which games were nominated or was that determined by visitors / members as well?

I am asking because I am trying to make sense of how Gears 2 (broken online) won multiplayer while COD:WAW (a more popular XBL title and better running online game) wasn't even nominated.

How did Gears of War 2 win multiplayer and game of the year but not best shooter?

Sorry but none of that makes any sense to me.

boodybandit - as I said it is a pretty new website about 20 votes were cast in each category

no visitors could not vote multiple time ( in one category )

the nomination list was made by merging the nominations on other gaming website like X-play and some other websites

the best shooter poll was tied b/w GOW 2 and COD 5 ... since GOW 2 had already won 4 awards ... the shooter award was given to COD 5

I am really happy that you guys are truthfully expressing your opinions as it will just help me in improving the website and doing better next time :)
