How to Download the Resident Evil 5 Demo Now (from Anywhere)

The long-awaited Resident Evil 5 demo has finally gone live across the ocean onto the Japanese Xbox LIVE Marketplace; thankfully PlanetXbox360.com found directions to help all of our readers (no matter where you live) get in there and download it. We are not sure whether this is legal or not but for now just proceed with caution (although we have played the demo at E3 and it is freaking amazing):

It looks as though Capcom has figured out what everyone is doing and region-locked the demo, that's too bad for the uninspired but you can still get it by clicking the above link and following it to the off-site forums.

It's gonna be a great co-op game. It's pretty much RE4 with better graphics, co-op, and more zombies on-screen. There's no pause inventory menu too, you push Y and your inventory pops up on the left side of the screen while the action continues, so you can't pause when you're about to get hit, switch to your shotgun, and then keep pushing the fire button to shoot him away from you lol...the good thing is the AI has great aim so you won't be pissed that your co-op partner is wasting all of your bullets, and you can call her to get close to you so she doesn't get beat down into a corner. I can see someone being an ammo hog though and not give the other person ammo and get into an argument...

Aww man, too bad for us ps3 owners who don't have an xbox, we wont get the chance to play this demo early. I mean its so simple all you have to do is create a fake email account, create a new xbox gold account, download the demo from the Japanese Xbox store, oh wait....Looks like its region locked now. Not a big deal, just go download the file and follow these steps:
- download the five rar parts
- extraxt them
- this will get you one (1!) folder named "content"
- burn this folder to a cd
- insert cd into 360, it will show up as "mixed media"
- navigate to "my xbox", "demos"
- click & play!

Wow! Now you can play a demo of a game, and you didnt even have to wait around like a sucker to play it.

Yup, the only way to play it now is to download it and burn to disc.

MS found out there customers were enjoying something MS didn't get to shove down their throat so they quickly put a stop to it.
