When all the good exclusive games have passed.

Since I own a Ps3, there is even less of a chance for me to buy an xbox next year, because of Multiplatform games, and better exclusives by next year.

the 360 will have to wait until its proven to be fixed AND after i buy my HDTV and surround sound and my logitec steering wheel for granturismo plus all the games coming out and by then gears2 will be announced for PC so i will be better off buying a better graphics card for my comp. ya know. i see no use for the 360.

We don't know it "neutralizes", but Jasper certainly is going to decease the faulty hardware percentage. There's noway Microsoft would make the hardware worst because they already suffered the consequence and are still suffering. Therefore this article is still valid you newb.

MS 100% admitted that the RRoD issues are a moving target...and that not one box revision is going to fix them entirely...

the 'jasper' will not fix it completely...all they have been doing over the past 2 years is reducing that ridiculously high failure rate...the jasper will be the most reliable 360 to date most likely...will be it considered a reliable electronic though?...no...end_fact.exe

I haven't had any issues. I love NXE. It's really easy to read and navigate. I wish the XMB on PS3 was as easy to read. The txt is too small!

*EDIT*
The only issue I have with XMB is the font size.

One guy rents a Xbox360 and says the dvd drie doesnt work after he put the NXE on.
Did it work before? It's a frigging rental, its been through hell and back.

The sites a joke.

Clearly biased to the PlayStation. When it acts like it's neutral it will become a good site for gaming. They need to stop authorizing stupid articles that keep repeating the same lame things.

Of course they won't because they have their heads so far up Sony's asses that they cannot see what they are turning their site into.

I have both machines and enjoy gaming on both. I'm an older gamer and do NOT have any issues reading the menu system or using it. In fact it is way easier to use than the old one.

These people that claim their Xbox 360s were RROD by NXE, I wonder how many of them had modded consoles.

NXE is causing problems...for now. However, unlike hardware: Software apps like NXE can be fixed and applied with time and some money, unlike a hardware revision: which takes time and alot of money for R&D.

Until then, sites can reap the benefits of site-hits as gamers are scrambled by FUD and flamebait articles to drive up traffic revenue for site owners: and increase the chaos in this never-ending console war. The only thing newsworthy about this article is that it points out the obvious. But I guess people like it that way.

I just purchased Motorstorm 2, Valkyria Chronicles and LBP again becaus of the Gamestop 2 for 3 deal. I love Valkyria thus far. I admit that I like the x360 more but inb no way a harcore fanboys like some of the people here, caugh**chaosatom**caugh**Bathy j. I just hated when everytime there is a negative article without fact just propaganda, it gets aproved like 2 mins later and there is like 50 posts that follow with the Sony fanboys bashing the x360 every chance they get. Oh, well I am back to playing Tales of Vesperia and check back later with U guys. Happy gaming

I just bought a 60gb Pro model about three months ago and I want another one just in case. I'm gonna wait until they clear out all the older systems from their inventory. I figure I will buy the Jasper model in about 6 months from now so I know for sure I'm getting that particular model.

I am placed in Germany/Europe and have 2 Xboxes (2 Launch Boxes, btw).

1st: Those NXE problems that causes hardware issues is a joke, isn't it? How should a software update cause RRODs ?????? As far as I know, the problem is caused by overheat or something like that, how should NXE cause such a problem? Do you think NXE utilizes the xbox 360 so much???? I don't think so.

2nd: The only time I experienced any problems with the NXE was in the beginning with that error messages from the marketplace. All other stuff works fine on my boxes. As I said, I have 2 Boxes. Never had any problem because both boxes are standing free with enough space and air for the cooling system built in.

Pointless article.

We have seen very few genuine reports of NXE causing any sort of widespread issues.

The number of RRoD stories has really dropped off, so MS must have improved things.

Personally I'm hoping my 360 fails sometime around Jan 09. I'm on my third 360 and the unit I've got is an older refurb - before the heatsink fix went in. My warranty runs out in Feb so it'd be nice to get a newer unit!!

Are my 100 Xbox live friends and I the only people on earth who have had ZERO problems with NXE? You would think by reading the internet that everyones XBOX bricked after the update and the NXE download is just a glitch-fest. I've had problems with the RRoD (god, ive had problems) but these new ones just aren't on my or my friends radar.
