You can't die in the game? WTF?
Combat has been toned down and completely changed.
And Difficulties changes, making it easier.

I guess i will rent it.

I was really impressed with the score until i saw the person giving it. Hilary has given some really high scores that werent deserved this generation.

That video review made the Prince sound more like a sidekick that anything else. You dont learn anything new? Always have snooty comments? Same sword? slow-paced? no new moves? One button combat? it sounds a little on the boring side imho.

Im glad this game did well so the year can end on a high note, since i believe this will be the last major game release for the year

I actually enjoyed the combat system, a lot more fluid being based on timing. There are enough button masher's out there for me. I mean, seriously, even trying to compete on button mashing with the God of War series is laughable.

Yeah after all his criticisms about the difficulty and such it made me wonder why he'd given it a 9.3... must be REALLY good to deserve that score despite the issues.

Still, I don't mind easy games. I mean, this game is probably in the same league as most platformers (that are aimed at kids) - and I still find those fun (like R&C).

Plus, if a platforming game is too difficult it usually leads to frustration and dissatisfaction so it might not have scored so high in that case.

Glitch-filled Assassin's Creed engine? Are you sure you played the same game as I did? Maybe you played the PS3 version, which is a little more glitchy? I don't know how you came to that conclusion. Sure, there was a little screen tearing here and there (but still less than Uncharted, for example) and also some pop-in, but all in all Assassin's Creed is still one of the better looking and performing games out there. Considering how massive its environments are, it is an extremely impressive engine.

THERE ARE A TON on both consoles, both discussed a tad in IGN's mediocre review for the game. Let's not get started on the screen-tearing, but also the dissapearing textures/full-buildings, the feet get stuck in the ground glitch, the "my assassination target decided not to be there" issue and the horrendous drops in frame-rate both consoles experience.

The engine is pitiful. They haven't fixed the screentearing either, watch vids that aren't trailer based, but rather exhibit just some random play, it's still there....bad sign. I don't trust this game at all...

Even if AC was glitched filled and was inferior in the PS3 version, PoP corrects the issues in the AC engine by not only just getting rid of those bugs, but by also making the Game Lead on the PS3. That Means when AC2 releases, we wont have the same problems we had in AC1.

i really don't care for the look of this game honestly, sometimes to me it looks liek the art style is only half there and it doesn't always flow well throughout the whole enviroment and the characters stick out like sore thumbs

The PS3 video review of Dead Space has 360 controls appearing in it. What does that mean? That multiplatform games nowadays are so identical that it's pointless to make several videos would be my guess. Or it could mean nothing whatsoever. Either way is fine I suppose.

why would a gamer like me want to experience being an emo with gothicy enemies? What's wrong with a REAL middle eastern/arabic/persian theme? Sands of time is a rare experience i will never forget.
