Stop worrying about things in a game, worry about the things that happen in real life. You know the things that go on ourside your basement...kids starving, genoside, poaching.

If you want to voice up over something, put it to a real cause that needs addressing. not Wow. I'm sorry but when was the last time you saw a cow walking on his hind legs outside carrying a 8foot sword? exatcly.

It's a TEEN rated game, not for everyone. If you feel the game is too much for you, don't play. If you think it's too much for your children, don't let them play. If you can't mentally understand and grasp the concept it's a game, then you shouldn't be playing at all. Especially if you think you are easily manipulated in real life by what goes on in a game, then you should seek counseling. The game isn't the problem. The problem lies in your head.

It's a medieval time set. It's fantasy. Arguing this, is like P.E.T.A(People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) arguing that killing animals in game is wrong. Sure, Blizzard added their D.E.T.A(Druids for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), but clearly these pixelated beings in the game have feelings and deserve rights.

The Geneva Convention as this tool referred to is to protect LIFE, not a pixelated character in a fantasy video game. Hell, we have movies and TV shows that torture people on a daily(episode by episode) basis. I don't see you complaining there. 24 is on prime time, local and cable TV. Everyone can see. You, your kids, your dog. What's stopping you from complaining about that? Your parenting.. that's what.

Don't be that guy Mr.Tool'writer. Don't rely on the V.chip to do your job as a parent, and human being. Don't expect video game developers to always provide age appropriate material for all ages.

It's teen rated. Most teens can grasp the concept of fantasy. Hell most children can. Clearly this adult with all his worldly experience.. can't.

Seriously? First of all, you could play Manhunt or any other excessively violent game to see worse things than you right clicking an item to make someone get shocked.

Also, I'd like to comment on the inaccuracy of the article. He claims that, "So, either you play along and zap the guy, or you don't get to go to the Nexus" which is entirely not true. I ran that dungeon twice before I even did the torture quest.

If you're trying to get your 15 min of fame, at least make an accurate point...

Go play something and don't complain about content that offends you...there are a million of things wrong with this world and you complain about a videogame?

Why is he crying about this? So what if we had to poke a zealot into speaking. Forsaken have been giving me quests testing different poisons on hapless captive scarlet prisoners while upping their hopes that I had brought them food or a beer instead "BLARHGHGHGHG"

Seems the author might need to a break from WOW if he is having such a hard time with what is a game and what is reality. Give me a break... What a non-news worthy event.

Plus I have to wonder if the guy has even played the expansion or is just reporting on hearsay. There are no quests needed to unlock the Nexus. My healer was required, I swapped toons, the group at the summoning stone, summoned me from Shat and off we went.
